What Stats does a BIG guy have?

What do you consider a "Big Guy" to be? I mean I understand some of you are 6'3" and close to 260 lean or something, but In your eyes not taking into consideration your own stats, what would you consider a Big person to be, so therefore "Physically intimidating for a large proportion of men" ?

For me I think it would have to be 6'2" or above in Height, and from about 225/230lbs upwards with about 15% bodyfat +/- a few....

Were not talking about HUGE here, IE WWF (WWE,whatever) Wrestlers, just normal run of the mill guys walking down the street.

I would have started a poll, but there is too much variation in the options in my opinion.

6'0 and 200+ lbs is big for a normal non-weight training male

You see I would usually tend to agree with that, but Im 6'2" and 203lbs, and I know or at least I certainly feel that I am not AT ALL physically intimidating. And I know that People who are 5'11" 175-80lbs don't consider me big, that's why I thought 6'2" 230+ is my figure....I even think 6'0" is not the magic figure anymore, I think from about 6'1" it looks "tall".

Obviously this is just my personal perspective.

intimidation for most people isn't about size, but rather aggressiveness.

I would say most people would consider you big if you are 6 feet or taller and 215 lbs. or heavier.

someone would have to be a lot bigger than that to intimidate me, but I am a fairly confident person. Plus, the truth is that 98% of the time anyone who tries to intimidate you is the last person who will actually do something. Its the quiet, confident people that you have to watch out for.

What I meant by "physically intimidating" was that : If someone saw a guy of a certain stature would you think that "normal" person would think twice before having a physical confrontation with the person.

Of Course there are a proportion of people who couldn't care less if the guy was 250lbs lean and 6'3", they would still give him a good smack if they stepped out of line, but the normal person would think about Self Preservation if dealing with a Person above a Certain Stature.

Big is anyone 20 pounds or so heavier than me but those 20 being muscle. I'm bigger than most, some even say HUGE when they talk about me, but of course to me thats ridiculous because I'm used to what I see in the mirror.

One of my friends was telling me about someone they knew talking about what a tank he was at 5'11" 225, he claimed to be lean. Then she told him about me, and I still think to myself... Tank? 5'11" 270@10%, I'd be willing to call them a tank. 225? Quarterback.

With everyone being so small though, someone around 220ish with a good build is 'big' compared to most of what I see regularly. I live in a very diverse area with a lot of smaller Mexican and Asian people though, and the white guys are often small as well, or really fat.
