I red-boxed home almost the entire time I was in the Navy.

ditto...I remember one time we got about 15 bales from a sezuire off this cigarette boat off the coast of St. Johns. me and my buddies must have gotten about 20lbs stashed before the rest was secured below decks.. :rocker:

You guys didn't get tested????!!!

The D&A people in the Army would have corralled anyone even
suspected of coming in contact with that, for testing - :(

nah..most of that comes over in shipping containers or hidden on tankers and super tankers. the Navy and Coast Guard almost never search them.. :hmmm:
supposedly it's too costly, etc. we used to let all the big ships go and search only smaller passenger vessels.

it's such a joke, our government does nothing to really stop cocaine from coming into this country

Wrong topic, but yeah drugs were too easy in the Navy. By "red box" I meant modded tone dialers for Pay Phones. My ET friend used to make them up in the back of Radio at his workstation.

when I got out in '94 tons of people were getting busted for using tone dialers, especially the squids from the Phillipines. I remember one dude on this FFG out of Newport, RI had to pay back something like $7k to the phone company

Those must have been the idiots you'd see using them on base phones, I always used them in Waikiki at different phones.

If your into stuff like that, check out this guy's website. He basically ripped everyone off he came into contact with from age 15 to 23. Ive read his travel journal and even though he is a huge thief, he's pretty damn clever.

The great thing about fast cars is when the cop clocks you.. then compares it to the max speed on his speedometer and realizes hes not even gonna get close enought to read your licence :P
