Tris, PT. Its all about tris. Many people get hung up on bi's, but I think thats just because of popular posing. Power comes from the tris. Thick strong arms come from tris.Tough Old Man said:Ok all you young studs out there, Which Would you prefer or which do you think looks better, Hugh Bi's or Hugh Tri's

So my vote, in 100% confidence, is triceps.

pmech said:For my purposes I find that my triceps directly affect what I am trying to accomplish, I should have restated that. I was tired and in a hurry.
Triceps are important to me because of what I am trying to accomplish at this time, meaning heavier compound lifts. I also use my triceps (heavy pushing movements) alot more thorugh out the day. So, in retrospect I should have stated , to provide more functional strength for myself. Better?

Bis are ok, but when are you pulling towards you all that much? Im not too knowledgable on the subject, but my 2 cents are that tris are 90% of your arm strength for what your gunna do with your arms.. Thats assuming you arent pulling things all day.
If you're gunna beat the crap out of someone its all tris, is it not? Plus big tris are off the chain!
EDIT: I agree with the dude above.
CowPimp said:Again, I don't see how 90% of arm strength is tricep related. Whenever you pick up an object, you are using your biceps.
LAM said:90% of arm strength is definetly not from the triceps but extensors are always stronger muscles than flexors. you should always be able to lift more with the triceps than with the biceps, same goes with the quads and hamstrings...
