neither. both suck.

train the rest of your body and you will be okay. this program is lacking and wont give you shit in return. read more.

A better workout schedule would be one that included your legs. Train your legs and your upper body will reap the benefits of the massive release of human growth hormone that heavy compound leg exercises illicit. Try this full body workout 3 times per week:

Squats
Deadlifts
Rows
Pullups
Bench Presses
Military Presses
Situps
Hanging Leg Raises

Try to keep the workout from going too much over an hour. Use whatever rep range you feel appropriate. Voila.

all I got is a power house home gym....I dont know if I could do all those excersizes

Sell it and buy an olympic barbell, some olympic dumbbells, a bench, and a power rack. You will be able to do far more with that than anyone all-in-one gym.

He can do quad extensions, and sort of a hack squat with that machine. Lat pulls in place of the rows. My son has a "Body Solid" very similar, you can improvise quite bit with it. I am not an advocate of machines either, I think they are boring. But a lot of people like them, and really don't have the room for all the free weight systems.

how about a Triumph Cage System?..this is what it has........
*Olympic size uprights
*heavy duty steel tubing upright
*strike plate and weight storage post
*walk-in squat and adjustable high/low pulley system
*Independent FID bench

its $159 at academy...is this any good?....or what should I look for?

You can do a very good leg workout with just a bar and some weight or even some adjustable dumbbells, you don't need to spend much if you don't have the means.
Check out the bargin finder, there's always soneone getting rid of good stuff thats collecting dust cause they're to fat and lazy to use it.

As for your workouts, depending on your schedual, a good three day split works well. Mon, wed, friday weekend off :thumb:

You don't need a power rack! Spend $40 on a pair of sawhorses that hold 1,200 pounds each. It doesn't get much safer or cheaper than that. I found mine at Home Depot for $20 each. They're made of steel and adjust in height and fold up to transport them. It's really a great and cost-effective solution to squatting and benching safely if you don't have a spotter available.
