fucking awful....can we get back to my post-what should I do because this bugging the hell out of me
oops damn ADD is kicking in againI thought we already kinda guided you toward what to do? No one here can just say, "yes count your workout drinking toward your day's total" or "no don't count it" - We don't know what your body is doing or feeling. It is up to you to take the information provided, and look for any signs of dehydration or hyponatremia. And maybe there are no signs because you are drinking as much as you should be.
Don't let it bug you... it's just water![]()

cough cough sniff cough pussy cough....I don't understand how someone could drink a whole gallon of water in the gym... I'd probably puke. The most I have is ~32-40 oz.

No, that is the dessert.
Hypothetically, A person takes in 1.5 gallons of water a day. They drink in the gym (about a gallon). Should this be counted as that part of that 1.5 gallions a day, or should that be included in the 1.5 or as extra? sorry for the math problem.
uhhh...I'm not on the decimal system...how the hell much is that?
we use yo' momma.I knew you Americans were silly for not using the metric system, but I can't imagine what you use in place of the decimal system!![]()

even if you down a gallon of water which I wouldn't suggest, the amount would be counted towards your total daily intake. Reason is, the body still won't sweat it all out nor will you urinate it all out. I would suggest drinking less during your workout though. Weight training like any other sport requires hydrating not bloating or gorging yourself on water. You should be taking sips during a workout. 16oz should do you an entire workout maybe a little more if you add cardio to that workout. Space your drinking out throughout the day. The idea is to keep the body hydrated but also to keep the metabolism working throughout the day. It also serves as an appetite suppresent. If the stomach is a bit full from water then you won't tend to over eat.
