Its not as bad as I thought. I think its cuz I was ready for such ridiculousness. Its not as bad as the Village (I thought the "twist" was predictable and IS what killed it) in my opinion, but its still fucking stupid.
I love the scientific explanations as to why or whow this could 'happen,' but its still not feasible. Had it be a poison that peopel suffocated from or even if it caused you to became enraged, ill accept it, but killing yourself in the easiest, closest way? Pure stupidity.
My only regret from saying such things about this movie BEFORE I saw it is that I wasnt bored. It did entertain me. However, I cant really explain why without laughing.
Its also a movie I would NOT see again.

Whats funny is that its a tried-and-true failure, yet people continue to produce movies, songs, tv shows on such a concept. Now a horror movie that seemed to have such promise? Its sad on a record breaking scale.
Exactly. I didn't want to spoil it for anyone, but that's exactly what the movie was.
The "science" behind it was dumb as hell. Only the plants in the northeastern US conspired to release the toxins at the same time in a coordinated effort to "warn" human beings against global warming. Then, they all stop at the same time. Then fellow combatant plants in Europe decide to follow suit.
Seriously, the "science" behind this was ridiculous.

Yeah the storyline was ridiculous. The only reason I'd recommend seeing this one is for Wahlberg, who is pretty good. But other than that, avoid at all costs. Shylaman fell off big time.
I hate when movies end spontaneously. It starts and then just stops, no one knows exactly why, and the ridiculous political message. Glad I downloaded it, not glad I wasted a cd on it.
