I explain it & then you can explain your statement of how the Catholics have been no better than today's radicals, as your replied to Corum's statement that "most sucide bombers and radicals are muslim! "
The biggest threat today is radical Islam, not radical Catholicism, not radical Christianity. If you're referring to the Crusades, which took place almost 1000 years ago, that is ridiculous. Of course there are shady parts of Christian history, nobody denies that.. Most civilizations have shady pasts, & with a 2000 year old organization it's no surprise that they have one too. But for you to say the Catholics have been no better, as if it is some kind of justification or excuse for Muslim's behavior, that's ludicrous. And if that's not what you're saying, why even bring it up? What does the Catholics of 1000 years ago have to do with the grave threat we face today from radical Islam?
If you're going to use that methodology, you have to have Germany for the Nazis, hate Japan for Pearl Harbor, hate England for the American Revolution. and on & on. In fact, you should hate all Americans for what they did to the Indians. You're not going to have many friends.
It's just bullshit... If the muslim people all moved away from violence & peace ensued, the only ones bringing up their dark past would be the same anti-religious people.
If a massive amount of people start blowing up buildings, chopping off heads, and strapping bombs to woman & children in the name of Jesus, I'll be the first to apologize. Until then, your argument is
nothing more than deflection.
