Do deadlifts work the lats?
also when u consider the back is a large muscle group and to gain good hypertrophy 12 sets is optimal, do you consider the lat muscle itself for say 12 sets or do you also consider traps spinal erectors etc in the 12 set catorgory?
so a typicall back routine would be 4 sets of deadlifts for pulldowns and 4 bentover rows, would this be enough to hit the lats sufficiently, i know trps will get hit hard with deads and rows anyway so lats are my main concern?
