Get ready for the influx of undesirables @ the gym

ok. the influx of people can be a pain to a routine, but everyone starts somewhere. everyone on this forum was once a newbie dumb ass holding 20lb dumb bells. you either learned because someone took you under their wing, or you stuck around long enough to get the lay of the land. help the newbies out. i'm not saying train them, but when they do something like get in the way because they don't know any better take 10 sec and explain gym etiquette to them. make everyones life better. to do otherwise is hubris indeed.

oh man!the fucking newbs crack me up!i call them the muscletech warriors.there's a group of young douchebags at my gym that walk in holding their muscletech shakers,and wearing the free nanovapor t-shirts and hoodies.i see them train arms about 4x's a week!chest once and never do legs.they even make it a point to let everyone there see them mixing their introvol in between sets.yes,they break out with the cans!lmfao!they have a huuuuuuuge gym bag full of muscletech products that they share.overheard them the other day telling another member that they "train" 6 days a week.

purely self serving I assure you. If I convince enough of the people around me to teach gym etiquette then I won't have to. plus I'm not a big guy. I'm 180 lbs. they look at me like I'm some small guy that obviously doesn't know anything. thats when I invite them to join us in sparring class. they usually don't come back :(

caught the prince of gears (who freely admits it) at my gym bragging to nb's about how he works out 5 days a week. bicep. tricep. shoulder. pecs. back.

figures that i took 3 months off, and my arms are bigger than his legs.

dont just lookout for nb's kids..

I'm a big fan of my gym, since most of the REAL lifters/bb'ers gearheads are actually cool as shit, they like to keep to themselves, lift and gtfo. catch them at the ass crack of early, (5am) mida day(11am) or the end of the day (11 pm) when the jer-coughs and unbig (myself included) are busy doing other ish

yeah. nothing wrong with starting off somewhere. its when you decide that for no effin reason other than its a new year is a good time to start working out and changing your life.

Monday wasnt too bad, but today drove around the parking lot for 10 minutes before someone was finally pulling out. Still cant blame them, I am sure when I go to church this Sunday they will be wondering how long that will last.

Still been telling everyone just to go the ironmagazineforums to get motivated to keep going ;)
 
The problem with these kids is their fathers never taught them how to properly train. Instead they are on the couch drinkin beers and kickin the dog. My dad "the former gearhead" had me in the gym at 14-15 teaching me. He told me a few things that I never forgot and everything he said was true.
1. Proper form is everything. If you get injured because of bad form then its your own fault.
2. Eat Eat Eat
3. Never skip leg day. He said, We arent gonna look like those assholes over there while pointing to those assholes over there with 18 inch arms and 12 inch quads.

Dad was right.

Your dad is a smart men. There is nothing like going to a BB show and seeing guys with awesome upper bodies and pencil legs. Not hot!

Your dad should write a book. Include those three rules. Sell to r-tards. Make millions, and help everyone realize the importance of legs.

This is my number 4 reason for having a Home Gym
1 is I can work out until I collapse and don't have to worry about the drive or walk home. I like to kill my legs until I can't even stand just collapse on the bench for half an hour then do the Dave Chapelle as Rick James leg drag into my house...
2 The only farts I smell are mine or the dogs...
3 No one elses bacterium infused sweat on my equipment...

4 All the weights belong to me, these are my weights

Bio-Chen is right everyone starts somewhere not to mention I find it motivation to never be fat ha.
