Is there anyway to workout upper body with tendinitis in your elbow? I tried to bench today and I thought I was getting stabbed in the elbow and fore arm.

I would suggest that you visit both a physical therapist and a massage therapist that are used to working on bodybuilders. I had slight tendinitis in my right elbow. The physical therapist worked on form and stretching while the massage therapist worked on relieving pain and inflammation. Get ready for them to tell you to stop doing some or all workouts but Good as new now.

i used to get it all the time. basically the only way to get rid of it is to stop doing the activities that are causing the tendinitis. for me i had to stop arm wrestling, and stop lifting until it went away. the problem is, if you keep lifting with it, it just gets worse and worse.. and will take longer to heal.

it sucks, but taking a break to heal.. and then eliminating the things that cause it are what you need to do

I agree with both above. It is almost impossible to train with the horrible pain of tendonitis. I have forearm and elbow. Both arms. Right arm is worst than left. But I try to stay away from exercises that irritate it.

Right now I am taking IronMag's FlexRx Flex Rx??? - Joint Builder and also applying N2BM Skeletal Balm Skeletal Balm and both are helping.

A couple years ago I had cortisone injections, and that relieved the pain, but only for a couple of months and the pain came right back.

Stop doing the work outs that make it hurt the most i have the same problem but still continue lifting eventually it will go away

You're looking at a flavor of tendonitis that is like the reverse of Tennis Elbow. I've used nylon elbow sleeves when it was really bad in the past (don't like using neoprene sleeves). They help in keeping the joint warm, but I also found the irritated it because it would feel like there was too much compression on the joint. Ice helps post workout, and time helps. Also find some alternate exercises that don't force that particular angle.

Im no docter but would prescribe a weeks rest with Anti Inflams 3 times a day to aid the recovery. When you come back do a little extra on the warm up and maybe lift light for a week so your sure the pain as gone otherwise you may just irretate it again.

Ive suffered with it myself in the elbows and this is what worked for me.

Try and think back to what triggered it in the first place so you can avoid it in future

Good luck friend

I got a '' MACDAVID '' Tennis elbow support , Wear it every time I enter gym , No matter what the excercise !
It really does eleviate the pain .

I have used DMSO in the past and it worked. I applied it once a day for about 2 weeks. Available at most health food stores. It is also called horse liniment. It is used on race horses when they get inflamed tendons.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
i tried everything, cort shot only thing that has worked for me, good luck
do some research on them.. they are horrible for you, and your bodys ability to heal

Look into IGF-1, also get a joint support sup such as Flex RX.
