ive beeen at this for about 5 years and have gotten some gains but now im not really getting anywere its been like this for like 2 years the only thing i can manage to do is get cut but not really "bigger".I guess ill just have to get a six pack if thats all im able to really get that looks good

eat a sheet load of good protein, get 8 hours of sleep, and do progressive weight high rep squats at least once a week - 99.99999 % of people will grow on that - no difference genetics or age -

Maybe you should try dead lifts since you claim they're worthless.

^^^^ IS THAT HIM FROM THE OTHER POST LOL

Bro honestly something sounds very wrong here . I would say with 100 percent certainty that your diet is severely lacking . And your training most not be far behind . Not trying to be rude , Definetly increase your calories anyway you can and maybe consider getting a training partner < That can maybe help you train some diff styles and try some new things (Deadlifts lol)

I've read 8 hours is too much

Whatever source you got that from make sure to never reference it again. Eveybody is different some react to 6 hours of sleep like some react to 8 and vice versa. There is no set in stone optimal amount of sleep for everybody.....its unique on a person to person basis. To simply say that 8 is too much is a vast and stupid generalization.

you cant complain about not gaining if your not doing squats and deads. As far as sleep goes some nights I get 9+ hours after a big workout, and feel great the next morning, no over sleeping symptoms. The only thing about sleeping that much that worries me is going that long with out food. So I got make a shake before bed and every time I get up to piss take a chug.

Damn you beat me to it!

No gains come from lack of training, lack of nutrition, or both. Seeing your comments in the other thread on squats and deads, I'd say you're training is lacking. Since all you can accomplish with your physique is a 6 pack, I'd say your diet is also lacking.

Ok, I said my dick comments, now help us help you.

What does your diet and training look like? How old, tall, and heavy are you? Is your progress stagnant across the board or in only strength or physique? It's nice to be dedicated for 5 years straight, but it's madness to stick to the same thing for 5 years and always expect to get better. It's time for a change.

Eat more, train more, sleep more

Also, not sure if anyone already made mention, but take a look at your lifting routine, cardio, nutrition and rest. See if you can make slight changes in each one. If you notice a difference in any or all the categories, make bigger changes! Out of it all though, IMO, blow up your current lifting routine and go for something VERY different. Sounds to me like you may have been doing the same thing for sometime and your body has responded by adapting. Peace Bro.

Eat big, lift big, repeat. Simple! Don't neglect basic training movements such as rows, squats, presses, and deads. Try lifting on a 3 day split. Dont make it complex keep it simple!! Same with diet stick to the basics chicken, steak, fish, ground turkey ,lean beef, low fat cheese, cottage cheese before bed, brown rice, sweet potatoes, eggs, oats,Greek yogurt, any way you get the idea. If your having trouble gaining then try to eat a solid food meal every 2-3 hours, with shakes and nuts as snacks in between.

I work out my chest and bi's every day. They just won't get any bigger. :coffee:

Big bill take two weeks completely off from training and eat plently of food. Then come back and do a Monday,Wednesday,Friday routine:
Monday- 5 warm up sets squats
-10 working sets

Wednesday- 5 warm up sets bench press. - 10 work sets

Friday- 5 warm up sets deadlifts
- 10 work sets

Do this for 4-8 weeks to shock the body and get back to basics. Eat plenty of food during this time. Reps should be between 15-3

Evan centopani recommended this too me two years ago at the Olympia, and I've done it once a year every since. If I'm bored or have lots of energy I'll do 3-4 sessions of cardio a week

get your bodyfat below 10%

ive just started doing some running after i workout this is day 2 of it so i think im going to do that 4 times a week since i klift weight 4 times a week

ok i uploaed what i look like now what do you guys think i need to workout?
You should workout your brain and get educated about the correct way to deadlift and squat.. You don't understand why your not getting bigger but you don't deadlift or squat challenging weight. Thats like a dude saying he doesn't understand why people think he's gay while he is talking to you with a **** in his ass. In order to gain mass you need to eat and lift correctly. Correctly means compound lifts, the reason compound lifts like squats/DL's are mass builders is b/c you are stimulating the largest muscles in your body which will give you the biggest hormonal response naturally possible. Or you could just take some testosterone and crush big weights like a real american. But seriously learn how to deadlift and squat correctly from someone who know's what they are doing, then look into bill starr 5x5 program which will give you a good base (in my opinion).

The funnny thing is you can grow and get strong just by doing squats, deads, and bench 3x a week (only dead lift once a week) and maybe throw in a few isolated movements (medium, light, heavy) check out bill stars 5x5.
