Some assertions are based on facts and science, others are based on imagination and myths.
The point is that too many people assume there is a supernatural world when everything we know about our universe points to a natural world only. The myth that there are supernatural beings comes from a lack of understanding of our universe and a need to fill that void w something.

The point is that scientists don't know and aren't afraid to say so. They are constantly striving to learn more and rejecting ideas that have been proven wrong.
The "others" have always claimed to know the answer even though they have no way of knowing, and their explanations are hilarious.

I bet you believe in germ theory, or atomic theory, or even gravitational theory. Scientific theories are given that label because they have pretty much been proven.
Faith is not involved on science, that is a huge misunderstanding of science of you believe that to be true.
I would recommend studying science better, because to say science involves faith illustrates your ignorance.

and according to the modern thesaurus.. theory and hypotheses are synonymous with one another. Dont they both require demonstrable evidence? i suppose the hypothesis is built on at least a small measure of evidence from the very beginning whereas a theory remains completely conjectural
all i was saying is religious people have put forth their postulation regarding the beginning of everything, and we understand that it's just a postulation.. we expect it to never be proven.. that's kinda the entire idea.
i havent seen science come up with much regarding the beginning of everything despite all the billions of dollars sunk into it.

Just fyi, snakes talking is not in the original Hebrew, its a translation issue. It should have been correctly translated shinning one. I have seen you post this a few times but without knowing the Hebrew you are relying on an English translation which may have some issues.
The Hebrew word for the serpent is nâchâsh, or literally Shining One.
