Have you really tried everything? Do you really eat thousands and thousands of calories, or do you train "kinda hard" and eat like you belong in fifth grade? Lots of people come to these and other forums asking for advice swearing up and down they have great diets and they need a drug solution, then you find out that one of the four, maybe five meals they eat, is toast with 2 eggs. WHAT THE FVCK CHARLIE?? If you don't starve on that fantastic, you assuredly won't be blowing past that 155 pound bodyweight you have.

Ben is not even the biggest guy around and when you add it up, he consumes about 120 pounds of meat in a month. This is NORMAL for a pro, 5+ pounds per day is not at all unheard of and has been normal for years even for the "smaller" guys. Protein protein protein, food food food. If you juice hoping for magic, guess what, it isn't there. Maybe you'll throw on some water weight and gain a few, but you wont' hold it and you certainly won't gain much anyway because 40 calories of oil and hormone in your butt isn't going to put on weight out of nowhere except put on some water weight. You have to eat, you have to train, and then maybe - something else can help if you are looking to blow past what anyone in your neighborhood is used to seeing.

Yup. It drives me nuts when people on here say there diet is in check then come to find out they barely get 2000 cals a day in. Also drives me nuts when people complain about there gear cuz there not seeing results when they train 2 days a week and eat like a rabbit. Waste of money if u don't make the very best out of every cycle

GREAT THREAD!!! this should be made a STICKY!!! I am so sick of people saying they have everything 'on point' and they aren't gaining with 1g of test and 700mg of tren a week!.... Then they type a 'typical' day of food out.. and it is 2000 calories MAX!!! Of course you aren't gaining any size!!! I diet with over twice that much(for bbing comps)....

I'm sure this thread will make ABSOLUTELY no difference to the people that NEED to read(and adhere) to what it says!!! They will read it, and assume that they are not the 'person in question' that is being referred to in this thread...

EVERYONE, especially you 17-22year old guys..... You have so much natural hormones in your body, if you aren't growing, you aren't eating enough, PERIOD!!!! And you sure as hell haven't hit your genetic limitations!!! But Your problem is your diet! Most of these guys don't have the FIRST CLUE about proper nutrition! They are eating cereal(from a box) in the morning for breakfast(probably with a whey shake), then a fast food burger for lunch, with fries(so there's some calories.. COMPLETE SHIT, BUT SOME CALORIES!).. Then they feel bad for their stupidity at lunch time(which they make the excuse that they don't have time for anything else.... if you want it, you will make time, and you will prepare your food ahead, if you can't go home for lunch!)... They eat a piece of fish or boneless skinless chicken breast(4-6oz) for dinner, with broccoli(or other greens)..(there's less than 500cal there!)

So, all in all, this person still has FAR less than 2000 cal, and half of it is complete shit!

Or, you have the 'liquid diet'(protein shakes all day.. no solid food) people... they can't understand why they eventually come to a complete stand-still on gains, when they are relying ONLY on protein shakes for ALL their calories!!! Come on guys, You should ALL know this is not going to work for long at all!!! but it will put a lot of distress on your kidneys(taking in 600g of protein per day).....

Some people seem to think their "hard" work in the gym is all it takes, and just a little protein shake here or there... I can remember feeling full all day, cooking for a couple hours a day, and not wanting to eat my next meal.

Dump your social life (at least some of it), be in the gym 5-6/7 days, and guess what - eating and cooking will take more time out of your day than the gym will.

THATS HOW ITS DONE.

I know my diet sucks big time no excuses, today I started with eating cereal from a box Cheerios with vanilla skim milk a whole rotisserie chicken (just the white meat then chicken salad with lettuce for dinner and a protein shake. I want to loose my nasty ass looking stomach, My gains are good though. before today I was eating Cheerios or bacon egg sandwich chicken salad for lunch and steaks and asparagus for dinner I know nothing about diet at all oh and 3 redbulls yeah but better than I was doing not eating though out the day then just eat a big dinner till I got back into the gym about 6 month ago.

I do all of that except the weight lifting part.

Does anyone here REALLY lift weights? Lets be honest. That part doesn't really matter.

:coffee:

You mean I just can't inject aas that I have no clue about, don't have any AI's get gyno make a thread need help, sex drive is gone but nothing to help with prolactone and workout routine is just an idea? This ludicrous, you all should be banned for speaking Ds truth. Lol.

Any of you guys do work on the road? I'm an outside sales rep, in other words no microwaves nearby. This is from 8am-3pm usually then I go back to the office where I can heat up something. I have been just hitting up subway for Turkey breast or chicken breast subs for lunch.

Listen brother, you do what you have to do. Years ago I would cook all my meals on a Sunday. Chicken, fish, rice, potatoes, and put them all in Tupperware so I would have meals ready for the week. Most days I was eating two of them tupperware containers and it wasn't enough, but like Mudge said, I felt so stuffed I had to force feed myself. I worked outside all day so you know what...I would eat my shit cold or whatever the outside temp was. No microwave ever! I had to do what was needed. Did it taste good most days? Hell no! You try eat a cold piece of fish, but I did it, because it needed to be done. Great post Mudge! I was definitely one of the guilty ones. If you you want to get the job done try 7000 calories a day with 450 grams of protein a day also. I think I spent as much time in the bathroom as I did actually eating my food. I only lasted a little over a month with that one. But that is a story for another time:winkfinger:

kid wanted to help me get him big...claimed to eat "a ton" but just couldnt grow

he had a deli sandwich, a bag of doritos, and a redbull

that day

yes, I feel you pain. sometimes I'm gone for weeks. Subway is the most reliable source, I usually get 3 tuna subs for lunch. shaker bottle on hand for in between meals and plenty of fruit.

I've worked for years in an environment where I was ALWAYS on the road(doing service calls)... I HATE cold food... so I got a power inverter(need 1000watt-1200watt one, and a cheapy $50 microwave, put it in one of the side bins of the service truck(but the trunk of a car will work just fine as well), precooked all my food, and just heated it when I was ready to eat it... When I was bulking, It was usually spaghetti... when I was dieting it was meat(of some sort), veggies, and yams(this all tastes way better to me HOT, than cold... and is well worth the $150 total that you will spend on the inverter and the microwave...).. when the food tastes better, you are more likely to eat it.. which makes it much easier to stick to a diet!

Farah has some interesting points of view.

I have an intestine issue and diet is my biggest struggle and it has been for almost a decade with an unknown GI issue. This is getting fixed soon however diet has been such a pain for me. I wish I could eat mroe solid foods but if I do I'm gonna wind up in the ER. So I do rely a lot on liquid meals. Not just my protein but also my fruits and veggies get the "Vitamax" treament....

Have you investigated fecal implants? Sounds like homeopathic hokum but the clinical results are astoundingly good for people with some incurable GI diseases like irritable bowel syndrome. Medicine is only on the cusp of appreciating the power and necessity of our biome so it's understandable that this treatment could be overlooked.
