nitric oxide + creatine (ok to do?)

I won't be finishing the bottle of nitrix. I had a couple drinks two evenings ago, and I suddenly could feel veins throbbing in my head and felt like I would pass out any moment. Once that passed (20 min later) I drove home - totally sober/unbuzzed. I didn't take any the next day, but the day...

nitric oxide + creatine (ok to do?)

That was my main question, if anything was eyebrow raising about it. I found lots of info about the separate products themselves, but not a lot on the mixing/interactions of them. I thought it should be a fairily safe combo, just wanted to put it out there. Thank you!

nitric oxide + creatine (ok to do?)

What do you mean selective - do you mean only use it before workouts? (thats what I do) If I don't train on a day I don't use it, at least thats my plan while I trial the two products.

nitric oxide + creatine (ok to do?)

Question, anyone see any issues/causes for concern with taking: -creatine mono -whey -nitrix (bsn brand of nitric oxide) -no-xplode The top two I currently take (whey and creatine), the bottom two I was going to try for a bottle's worth of product in addition to my current program. It sounds...

Need some advice on getting started...

I would get a physical from your doctor before starting a workout regime - I did this myself and I'm half your age. It gives peace of mind knowing the blood tests came back ok and everything is good to go before getting into it. I think you would benefit greatly from light cardio (walking...

    Tea???

Many teas do have more caffiene than coffee, it used to be an accepted rule that tea contained more caffeine than coffee. I am speculating here, but I think it was more applicable before starschmucks appeared on the coffee scene and the type of tea you're drinking factors into it as well...

    Need Help..

You say you haven't worked out in a while, and it sounds like you have plenty to ground to cover where you don't need some of the extravagant supplements you mention. I have a pretty conservative view - I would not recommend to any of my friends who started exercising that they bother trying...

    The "Bowflex Revolution"

Its not for everyone, but its a good niche product. While I've not used a bowflex I did use a similar product (used flexible rods) and I was very happy with it for what it was. Certainly the gym has better equip, but its nice to have at home. Benefits include: -Safety. My bro's wife took too...

When lifting for tone/stength and not mass...

thanks.. yeow.. I struck a nerve  I admit I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to routines for women. I think my routine is pretty well worked aligned my goals. Knowing her goals are so different (her being a runner, not wanting mass) I wanted to inquire on whats...

When lifting for tone/stength and not mass...

I have a female friend that works out with me, and at times I think she's crossing the line of doing a mass building routine. (its a fine gray line) She'll do three sets of the same weight for 10-15 reps, or she'll step the weight up in increments each set with her last set being 6 reps...

Newbie questions on Cardio (whats too much / eat before or after?)

Two questions -I was wondering how much cardio is too much? -For fat burning, when do you want to eat, before or after your cardio? Yesterdray I ate a tuna sandwich, then did 40 minutes of an elyptical at the gym that claimed I burned 700 cals, then went to judo pratice for an hour, and...

    yet-another-creatine ? - how much dextrose

For the most part I've not used creatine, but thought I'd try it again. I would always take it in a glass of whey protein and water. Usually I'd take it post workout. I'm using AST Micronized powder, not that I'm endorsing the brand tho it works well for me.

    yet-another-creatine ? - how much dextrose

Hi all - I am thinking of trying creatine again. Last time around I just dumped in what seemed like a good amount of dextrose, which I'm sure was often wayy too much. :bulb: So the serving size for normal creatine monohydrite is 1 teaspoon, how much dextrose should I add? Mix it 2:1...

ankle weights (anybody use them ?)

I am looking to buy some ankle weights to excercise my legs in a more functional sort ofway. Lifting my legs, swinging my legs out to the side, maybe do some stairs with them on, etc.. I'm wanting to build the more indirect sort of leg muscles. I have for quite some time had normal gym leg...

    balance training?

Excellent ideas! Long long ago I flirted with a martial arts class for a few months. Martial art or yoga might be a better use for the money than buying one of these balance boards. (though they still interest/intrigue me) You both answered to the root of my question - improving my balance...
