A Bodybuilder told me to do this routine? Is he right?

That looks like a decent routine, but a lot of work. I'd personally cut back to 2-3 sets, and eliminate the flies and all the shoulder exercises except the militaries. Shoulders get a good workout from the bench, back row and militaries. You might even want to consider a more pared-down...

    Deads for legs or back???

When I'm doing my three-way split, I place deads on back day, and always do them first. I never go to failure with deads, as you can really wreck your back with bad form. If I'm really tired near the end of a set, I'll reposition myself for each rep to make sure that my form is good.

New interesting routines needed for all my body parts

My current routine: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Squats--3x6-8 Bench--3x6-8 deadlifts--3x6-8 Somewhere in there I'll throw in some calf work, and a row. That's it--basic stuff. The last rep of the last set of each exercise is really tough, and I feel thoroughly worked-out when I'm done...

    Lifting Routine

If you're making good gains, why not just ride it out? If you're happy with your current progress, keep at it until you plateau, then try something else.

    What should I do?

Look at the systemic effect of weightlifting. It puts great stress on your body, and if you are sick you need extra recovery time. Taking a few days off won't hurt you--if you're overtraining it will actually help.

    Gorge forman grill??

I also have an imitation GF grill. It does a great job, and is especially good grilling veggies--not just meat.

    Lifting and Cardio

Cardio before training can hurt your performance. It's probably a good idea to do it after training, but remember that hard cardio can impede your recovery ability. You need plenty of rest to grow.

    Training Basics

I've seen some incredible routines in my gym, usually guys doing 20-30 sets of curls three times weekly, 10 sets of benchs 5 days a week--you get the idea. Over the course of the last couple of years I haven't seen any of these guys grow, or increase their poundage. I just mind my own business...

    I can't grow!

Bump on everything mentioned here. Make sure you add squats and deadlifts into your routine. They're both proven mass builders.

    Performance reduced after break?

I have taken two week breaks a couple of times, and have noticed an increase in weights for the big three (squat, dl and bench) each time. Probably because I have a tendency to overtrain.

    deadlift

I dunno about using the smith for deads. Personally, I don't use it for deads or squats, as you're locking into one plane during the lift.

    Sit up's or good diet

If by good abs you mean visible abs, in general it requires working them like any other muscle, and lowering your body fat %. Something I *definitely* have trouble with. :(

    Favorite Bodypart To Train?

    Favorite: legs! Least favorite: forearms.

    How low can you go

I've always gone "ass-to-the-grass" and have never had any problems. Recently I had a hamstring injury, and when I healed enough to try squats, I did a couple of workouts to almost parallell with light weights. Now my knees are sore as hell, and one is giving off a popping, grinding sound...

The quickest way to gain mass?

Lift heavy, eat well, rest. Then repeat.

    Electric Abs!

People always seem to want the easy fix--and believe me, I've been guilty of this too. I've come to realize that in general you get what you work for.

    Injured! Now What?

Tank: No, I haven't seen a doc, although I probably should have. My history is to try to work through pain--usually not a good idea. I appreciate all the comments. I'll continue the upper body stuff and hope for quick healling because my favorite lifts are DL and squat. About squats: I...

    Elbow Pain

Every few months this crops up with me too--right now as a matter of fact. Curls, tricep work and certain rows seem to make it worse. I just lighten up on these exercises for a while, and it goes away.

    Injured! Now What?

My current routine is a three day split centered around squats, bench and DL. I currently do 4-6 sets of 5-6 reps of each exercise, and have done well with this for 4 months. Last week I participated in a pick-up basketball game, and while coming to an abrupt stop on-court, felt both...

Reason you started working out ?

I looked around one day and noticed that years of poor eating habits and no excercise had turned me into a fat slob who couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing. That was five years ago, and I've been lifting ever since (with time out for a couple of injuries).
