10k prize for proving the bible wrong?

No one can empirically prove nor disprove the existence of God. You either believe or you don't.

or any God for that matter.

and who's going to waste their time for a measly 10K anyway?

Theres a God for sure! I dont care how much crap they say to try to prove the Bible wrong. I know what ive lived and seen, and nobody is going to convince me otherwise that I didnt have God watching over me. Plus looks like the creationists are broke or something, like Lam said 10k is crap! Lol

However, the claim was to disprove genesis. This can be done and not done... depending on how one "interprets" genesis and who the judges are. lol.
Genesis makes some pretty outlandish and obviously false claims... well at least one can interpret genesis so that it appears to make pretty false and outlandish claims... Murky grounds all in all and its easier just to ignore the creationist and pretend they don't exist... Unless one lives next to Liberty University. :(

I went to a Catholic high school and we would get into this debate in theology all the time. Sure there is plenty of science that definitely supports evolution. The teacher would simply ask "How do you know evolution is not a tool of God?" "God could have been the driving force that caused the lighting storm to strike the primordial sea binding oxygen, nitrogen and carbon to form the first nucleic acids...". The of course there is the Chain of Cause and Effect. Where did or who created the First Cause and First Effect, would that not be considered god? We could beat our brains in over this until end of days and never have an EMPIRICAL answer. Again you believe or not. Also, why would someone want to level a court challenge to prove legally that Genesis is real when it costs $300K minimum to get an attorney to take something to SCOTUS? Oh heck, even at a local state court will be in the 50K range.

"Cant someone just reference the 17+ court cases on Evolution vs. ID/Creationism and notice the verdicts (all wins for Darwinian Evolution)? We should be touting this more and not giving loonies room to speak anymore."

So you think that is someone believes in God that they are loonie>?

Does that also mean you are also against the 1 St Amendment freedom of speech
