I've got a few questions. After having read the post with another member in the "copper deficiency" thread it seems like there may be help

Firstly, I'm a 19 year old college student who is majoring in Chemistry. I'm currently taking 25 mg of Adderal Xr to help with my ADD. It's also been theorized by a couple of my psychiatrists that I have Aspergers Syndrome (but I never got officially diagnosed because of expensive testing)

- I'm pretty sure i have AS cause i always feel awkward in social situations, I have narrow, unconventional interests and I'm not good at nonverbal communication...

My symptoms sound like the guy's from the copper deficiency post

In addition, I feel like I have chronic fatigue too and "brain fog" as I've heard it referred to..

As far as my medical histories goes, my doctor gave me a blood test several years ago and I guess i hard an slightly abnormally low thyroid count and the pedatrician felt that there was a mistake in the test and she wanted to get me retested but I never went back untill several years later.

Several months ago I had my thyroid checked and a bunch of my "levels" that they commonly test for in a blood test.

(if I remember correctly from reading the copper deficiency thread, the original poster had all normal levels because of a problem with his insulin or blood sugar???)

- The other post got too winded and it took me all night practically to read through it all, I'm wondering if you could give me some info here, It would really help me out... These symptoms of constant lethargy/brainfog and everything else i've mentioned have been fucking with my development

my previous meds

adderal xr, wellbuetrin xr, strattera and a few others i'm sure..

As I was saying the other post got kind of wordy and I was wondering if you could tell me what I should do to get rid of Aspergers Syndrome and the stimming/bad eye contact/fijjiting that goes along with it

I'd greatly appreciate your help

also, it might be useful to you to know that I've previously used methamphetaine hcl at recreational dosages but I've had these symptoms before then, the meth actually seems to alleviate my symptoms but I think it just masks the problem temproarily and I want to get it at the root.

likewise, In previous days, I used to do Dextromethorphan Hbr recreationally and I noticed that it seems to have tremendously alleviated my symptoms of Aspergers such as the brain fog/figiting and i was also able to make hand signals while talking (nonverbal comm) also, i was able to think of ideas more fluently or.. fluidly?

PLease help!!!

How do you handle wheat, out of curiosity?

I'm not really certain. I haven't experimented to see if it causes any type of negative effects

what should I look for? Help please..

point me in the right direction as to whole to check for wheat allergies?

your dealing with some pretty gnarly drugs and symptoms here. these are the type of questions you need to be asking specialists, not a bodybuilding forum. you can't treat these conditions with supplements.

Indeed.

That being said, many with Asperger's suffer also from celiac. You might consider ditching gluten for a while to see how you feel.

Also, get your thyroid function tested - not just TSH but also free T4 and free T3. The brain fog is sometimes due to diminished or sub-clinical hypothyroidism.
