What if the plane is not full?

Doesn't matter. If you're taking up two seats you should have to pay for two seats. The only exception I can think of on such short notice would be if a person can PROVE a medical condition which causes the obese condition. Even then I think the person should have to pay extra, but not the full two seat price.

If a person's chunk rolls break the
boundarys of the seats next to
them then the person should definitely have to
pay extra and book a row of seats for themselves.

Would we all feel the same way if the person was a 300 pound body builder???![]()

I've been thinking about this for a while and have come up with a question of my own. So far we've all assumed the person was "obese". (Safe assumption since that was part of the original question.) Would we all feel the same way if the person was a 300 pound body builder???![]()

I agree, it would be a good idea to have larger seats available.
