I have used a series of 3 week PSMF's followed by 3 weeks of maintenance to lower by bodyfat over the last year or so. This has been really effective, allowing me to keep my bodyweight fairly consistent, and still drop fat. Basically a steady recomp.

However, now that I am roughly around 12%, it has stopped giving me the results I want, and I hit a plateau, so this is my first experience with carb cycling.

My BMR is roughly 2700-3000 cals per day, and my average daily macro keeps me around 1800-2200 cals. My goal is 2lbs per week.

My average macros are:

Protein: 312g
Fats: 61g
Carbs: 30g

Total: 1,917

The carbs are sort of deceptive, because I am loading up with them on my 2-3 lift days, and taking in NONE on my off days.

My concern is that the scales haven't moved in a little over a week. Maintaining right at 215lbs. With an average of 2k cals per day, there really isn't anyway that I am NOT burning fat is there? I am also on cycle, and using T3/clen. I am however just coming off dbol, so is it possible that it is just fluid retention? I don't feel bloated, but I am just worried that I am doing this wrong.

I'd bet fluid. Leave it alone, see what happens in a few weeks.

IMO..your cals are too low for your current level of fat free mass and level of activity. eat for the amount of fat free mass that you have not total bodyweight.

215 - 12% = 189
(189/2.2) x 24 = 2000 is closer to your BMR which should be the absolute bare minimum that one eats daily.

my best guess is that when you factor in your daily level of exercise and other factors your simply not eating enough to facilitate fat loss at this point.

interesting concept :daydream:

I had thought about that myself. I have a fairly physical job, and lift heavy, so maybe I should shoot more for 2500-2700.

Thanks bro.

dude thats the problem I'm haveing with carb cycleing is my job can be physical sometimes and on low carb day's it fukin sucks.
