I'm not worried about the economy as long as he kept us safe from terrorists. It was important to fight them there so we wouldn't have to fight them at home.

I agree, Iraq had a navy and air force that needed to be taken out before they paddled across the sea, or flew their hot air balloon to new York w bows and arrows.
And now that Iraq is ruined, al queda can't train anymore Iraqis to blow up our buildings.

Iraq didn't have a direct connection to 9/11. But, Saddam wanted WMD and if he got them, he might have handed them over to Al Quaeda. Also, you have to think about the threat of the suitcase nuke, Even thought the US doesn't have that kind of technology yet, you gotta know that Saddam wanted it. If Saddam ever did get it, he might give it to Al Quaeda for free so they could detonate it in NYC. Iran and N.Korea already have chem and bio weapons, so attacking them would be too risky. But, Saddam wanted the same weapons and we simply couldn't let the proof come in the form of a mushroom cloud.

Agreed, the idea that a secular dictator in Saddam would work with a bunch of religious extremist is nonsense. The people of Iraq will start a civil war any day (might have already started) now and start killing each other, which further strengthens Iran's influence in the region.

You are right, however, I like my suv very much, mainly because I am too fat to get into a camry or squat down to sit in a car for that matter. Plus I like to drive alot to many places and I can't afford to pay more for gas for my suv that I own because I'm so fat, and I am patriot and patriots only drive american suv's. Plus muslims are bad.

I drive an 08 Silverado extended cab Z71 4X4 so I feel your pain, but you should look at how much higher gas prices got post Iraqi invasion. I would be OK if we went there for cheap oil, but it's not cheap.

Using tapatalk on my phone so the picture is tiny. I don't drive a truck to look "bad ass" I'm 6-4 and setting in a car very long kills my back. I had surgery on it about 10 years ago and it didn't take long to realize I needed something bigger.
