Confused about Dextrose post W/O

I dont think the GI of ots is high enough to put in your PWO shake to replenish blood glycogen and blood glucose levels, as well as spike insulin. Oats is also a slow burning complex Carb which is just going to miss the mark completly.As far as taking you out of a Catabollic condition as soon as your workout has fininshed You would be far better with maltodextrin and dextrose in your shake. (These can be bought at most supermarkets and some supplement compines stock them.)
 
im 200 lbs.. What should be my intake post workout for maltodextrin and dextrose as far as amounts go..i have 2 scoops of isopure whey protein ..so that and how much of this stuff? gotta do some research on this stuf because ive been using 1 cup of oatmeal lately and ive seen massive results as far as muscle gains are concerned..but the thing is im trying to cut lol

You would want Double carbs to protien ratio in your PWO .You could also do it another way and put 2.5 grams per pound of lean bodymass in for a cut and 5.0grams per pound of lean bodymass on a bulk.Both are good to go
If you can only find one of the two either one on there own is good to go but I recommend taking both.

Sorry that was my mistake it's per 10 pounds of lean bodymass.
If you don't know your lean bodymass. Your 200 pounds so it would be approximetly 50 grams on a cut (just enough to take you out of a catabollic state and replenish glycogen levels). and 100 grams on a bulk

Yes thats the best choice 100g total carbs on a bulk and 50 grams toatal carbs (25g of Matodextrin and 20g Dextrose) on a cut.
