What do you guys do with the added sodium in cottage cheese? I use the dry curd kind, but unfortunately it goes bad pretty fast so I'm thinking of switching to regular kind (fat free or 1%). My only problem is the salt. Do you guys rinse it out?

I rarely if ever salt my food. Well maybe Freedom Fries. I get my salt from the food I eat. So the sodium in cottage cheese I do not worry about. I prolly need it.

Well, if I want to make protein pancakes, I don't think the sodium would taste that good in the cottage cheese.

Well then add more syrup. :)

I don't worry about the sodium content in foods...you only have to worry about sodium if you suffer from high BP or hypertension...

what in this world is freedom fries? the only fries i know are french fries

freedom fried=french fries.

after the french didn't want to help the US with iraq everybody started saying freedom fries.

"everybody" is a bit of an exaggeration. bush wanted people to say that because he was mad at the french. i sure as hell dont call em freedom fries and dont know anybody that does. but thats another topic alltogether....

we need sodium in our diets since we workout, sweat and drink lots of H2O

I'll give it a shot and see if it works out.

You have the freedom to super size them. :)

Yeah, get your salt, I lacked it, and now have a thyroid problem. I hated salt.
