Could You Pass 8th Grade Science?

Pretty much what im getting in University Science. I think im cursed with that score forever.

Im okay with it.

same here, a B.

73% (C)

Pretty much in line with my grades in high school except for Anatomy.

Definitely an F.

89% homos....

and by homo I mean Homo sapiens...

b

but not on the first try :dont:

100% my second time.....because I'm smart enough to look up the couple answers I was stuck on, hell if you're able to take this test then you're able to google right? It shows more intelligence to use all resources available....:hehe:

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Besides Jarhead, I don't know what your trying to imply. But, I already matriculated the 8th grade!

76%, but I disagree with one of the answers personally. The question about relating the muscles of the arm to a lever. I don't feel that a lever would take into account antagonistic muscles - in this case the bicep vs tricep. The pulley just seemed to make more sense even though I know they had very different functions.

Then why didn't you do that on your first try genius? :roflmao:

I disagree with this question and answer:
A stone dropped from a helicopter takes 10 seconds to hit the sea below. What is its final velocity? (Assume that the acceleration due to gravity is 10 m/s2)
100 m/s

The FINAL velocity is 0. The final velocity is reached when the stone reaches the water and stops moving, right? It would only be 100m/s at the moment just prior to hitting the water, but that wouldn't be its final velocity IMHO.

I also missed these:
Comets are composed of ____ left over from the formation of our solar system.
Dirty ice ...I think I put iron or something like that

and this one too:
_____ are hurtling through space and not captured in Earth's atmosphere.
Meteoroids

I put meteors instead...I know meteorites were only called meteorites until they landed on earth.

Cause the first try was me pitting my memory against the quiz, the second try was my wit vs. the quiz....

I got this wrong too, and for exactly the same reason. I took the question literally. Are you an engineer too?

I failed. My wife did also. She's a high school teacher. So sad.

I got 80%, but bullshit on some of those questions.

What are the two main functions of fruit for a plant?

1. To attract insects and to protect the seeds
2. To disperse and protect the seeds
3. To disperse the seeds and attract insects
4. To store food for itself and to protect seeds

That was a trick question. They say 2 is right, but so is 1. through evolution, plants needed insects and other animals to eat their fruit to spread their seeds. I agree, that insects alone isn't going to spread the seeds, but they do share in the responsibility like all animals to eat the fruits to spread the seeds.

ROFLCopter, I feel like I'm in elementary school all over again arguing with the teacher for 2 extra points on my test.

The arm is nothing like a pulley

I don't think 1 is right at all... insects don't really help in seed dispersal. They are too small. Insects aren't really attracted to fruit anyway. They are attracted to the flowers for pollination but that isn't the fruit.

If attracting insects was a function of fruit, you would have to accept 3 and 1 as correct answers too (especially if you believe 2 is correct also)

I guess you're right. seeds are made to be undigestible so that animals eat the fruit and shit out the seeds.

D-

Science is for queers who can't get laid anyway.

Me too. I missed those three as well.
