Cruise advice

The great state of Confusion
So, today is the end of the 6th week of my cycle. I haven't really changed much since week 4. After gaining a good solid 15 lbs. I upped my test cyp from 700mg/wk to 875mg/wk with mast enth staying at 560mg/wk. I still haven't gained or changed at all. So my idea is to cruise for the next 6 weeks and let my system readjust/myostatin levels come down. I've read that 6 week cycles can be very productive. My last cycle was 12 weeks total with a good recovery of natty test, so no big deal on the length... I'll then go back to a blast for 6 weeks, then PCT. My last pin was Tuesday. If I want to cruise, what should I run? I'm thinking 250mg/wk cyp. Should I lower the test and run some mast?? Should I keep going with an AI and my HCG?? Should nolva or clomid be included?

Stats: 200, 5'10", 10% bf, 50 years, 4 years solid training, clean diet, 2nd cycle.

Test cyp and Test E do not really kick in until the 6 week mark.
A 12 week cycle is pretty standard. Between week 6 and 12 is when the magic happens.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that I started with Test Prop and transitioned to cyp. I made great gains then stopped. Bodyweight went up over 15 lbs. and BF% remained the same. I'm vascular as hell so I don't think it's water weight. My first cycle, I didn't start making gains until week 6.
 
200-250mg of cypionate or enanthate 1x a week.
 
Test e and c should not take six weeks. Cruise on 200-300mg a week bro. You will maintain well at that dose. Dont expext to gain much tho

Thanks D... I have totally stalled out on gains even after upping the test. I primed hard pre cycle and blew up in the first 4 weeks. The mast did exactly what I was looking for too. I'll cruise for awhile and see if that will set me up for gaining on my next blast. I just wasn't sure on the AI or HCG while cruising.

Glad to hear you are okay after your health scare... It's always good to reevaluate once in awhile.
 
I don't mean to change the subject at all but sometime adviced me to take mast the last 4 weeks of my cycle... I'm on a full blown test/EQ/deca/TNE/Dbol bulk cycle right now... 750/600/400wk and 50/50day.... Never used mast and just wanted some input as too whether it's a good idea to throw I'm into the end of my cycle... All I here about it is it's like waxing a newly washed car, lol... I don't want to take it of its gonna cut me back down too much though... Tried that with Tren last cycle and was pissed cause I don't need to cut I need to bulk... Anything helps...

If you're goal is to bulk then stay away from Mast. It is used mainly during body recomp or cut phase. It worked amazingly in that it helped me harden up even more as well as maintain my muscle mass during a calorie-reduced diet. Highly androgenic yet mildly anabolic so it's not useful in a MASS/Bulk phase where you're trying to add size. I view it as a compound only useful in a specialized particular way.

Is your test cyp legit? thats a pretty high dose for stalled gains.

I think its possible. I believe he ran a pretty hefty cycle previously so i think his body just needs a break. Cruising for a couple months will give his body a chance to heal an solidify the gains. And let the receptors clear.

I'm pretty confident my cyp is legit. Like I said, I made great gains with test prop/cyp, mast enth then tapered off. The drop off didn't coincide with dropping the test prop either.

D, you're right. I tapered up the cyp last cycle to 850mg/wk. I love what the mast did for me compared to last cycle. I just got back from the gym and a big guy I hadn't seen for a few months came over to tell me I was ripped compared to when he saw me last. That comment with 15 lbs. extra body weight made me feel good!!
 
If you're 50 I would just go ahead and cruise bro I wouldn't even try and pct. You'll feel much better

I've been struggeling with the decision to blast n' cruise for quite a while now...Every time I think I've made up my mind I read some information that changes it. I guess I'll see how well I keep my gains and how I feel after my next blast before I will know for sure. I seem to be getting better in tune with what's going on in my body the longer I go.

After my last cycle I had my test level checked a couple months after PCT and had a reading of 525. Not great, but probably good for my age.

Hey Prize, I'm 47 and started Hrt last year. Gotta admit best move I ever made. I feel fantastic, more energetic and much more, let's say aroused than I ever was post cycle, even with pct. I cruise at a doctor prescribed 200mgs a week. 525 is not bad, it's probably close to middle of the scale. But I coast at the higher end of the scale, much more optimal as far as keeping gains and all around sense of well being!
 
I'd definitely run HCG throughout the cycle then, 525 is pretty good so you could probably wait a while to start cruising lol

cruising & bridging is not ideal,its very hard to fully recover when you use this method especially when you get older which you are, the best gains are produced when your body is fresh and clean from gear, with every successive cycle you will have to keep increasing the dose just to get some kind of gains out of the cycle. personally i would rather fully come off recover and maintain without any kind of cruising, the gains are far better and my body responds more, also i am firm believer in the short heavy cycles rather than bridging 2 long cycles together. I Know guys that bride dbol after a cycle because your LH function & test levels need to recover. D-bol is a good bridging agent because it is very anti catobolic and also has an androgenic effect, increasing neuro-muscular function(more strength). 10 mg’s of d-bol can increase your average test levels 5 times while decreasing your endogenous cortisone by 50% or more. test levels are highest in the morning after you wake up. when you first awake your body is about to release testosterone creating a spike. Insulin , LH & test levels are low. 10 mg’s d-bol will create a simultaneous test spike with the test released from the testes. your body will not detect the entire above normal increase in test. LH levels will remain a little suppressed. LH levels will recover @ a slow rate & the ant catobolic effect of D-bol will stump morning protein loss. note: if you take more than 10 mg’s, LH levels will not recover. in a few hours after administering 10 mg’s it will be 5 mg’s, this is why the body doesnt detect the full above normal spike & LH levels will return to acceptable levels. this will keep test levels @ a high enough level to prevent too much unwanted muscle loss. A good way to run a d-bol bridge is to start when you start your PCT and then continue for another 3 weeks after pct. Some use Test at a low dose a week as well. There are alot of opinions on this. Oh and i call it a continuous cycle because if you think about it your still on a cycle lol.

If you are cruising there is no pct. You dont come off a low dose of test. This keeps you shut down. Thats why its not reccomended unless you are willing to take the chance of being on hrt permanently. Sorry i thought you were joking lol!

I was thinking some guys cruised for a short period of time then did PCT


I just wasn't sure exactly what the cruise really was

Thats more of the bridgeing idea but still the longer you are on the harder it is to recover.
