this is why I never let doctors give me injections. The nurse has much more experience doing little stuff like that. He was maybe nervous because of the camera but still. Didn't equalize pressure in the vial before drawing oil, dropping the swab, didn't aspirate and almost killed that poor dude. PurePersian got it. I would not have even noticed if he would not have pointed it out. That poor guy, his forehead was all wrinkled, his teeth were clinched, hes was thinking I would knock you the *** out doc... except you are still holding the needle.

Why does everyone think that it is neccesary to aspirate??
I am a CMA and still enrolled in Med School and not once have they ever said you need to aspirate. I must have done thousands of IM, IV, and SubQ shots and never mind how many on myself, and there is no need to aspirate since if you nicked or hit a vein blood would rush in the plunger either way. Think about it, when have you ever seen a nurse or whoever gave you immunizations or injections aspirate??? NEVER!!

A good friend of mine is a RN at an ER trauma center and they don't aspirate either.
No one does bro!! Atleast not in the medical field that I know of.

low count to most but I've done less then 200 IM injections, I do aspirate and of those times once I did get 2 drops of blood back into the syringe. Pulled out changed pin and found a new spot.... IMO only takes a few seconds and what's the rush. Maybe it's not neccassary ... but with some of the experiences you hear about with regards to Tren seems like a good idea.
