Hey guys,

So Im 24 I've been researching on wether to do my first cycle for about a year now.

I have my reasons why I want to do it and a big event is coming in March in Miami that I want to get a little extra push for....working out. for the ladies

haha neways just ignore that cause you guys all will comment but I am just wondering without me going and digging around checking prices. Whats a ballpark on cost for a first cycle ?

Im thinking of taking some test e and pct and all that stuff. But just a general ball park how much do you think the first cycle would be and then cycles after if you stay consistant? I know prices are different from each supplier and each area but I am just looking for more of a ballpark of costs just so I know what Im getting myself into.....financially

Thanks,
Devin

Well, for me.... for a first cycle. 2 bottles of Test E ($120)
1 bottle of Adex (just in case $60)
1 bottle of Clomid ($60)
1 vial of HCG ($50)

Some might tell you that Adex and HCG are not needed for a cycle like this, but I personally would include it.

$290 total for what I would do.... of course it's up to you if you want to drop the Adex and HCG and would save you some money.

Good luck with your first cycle, I would just stick with 500mg of Test weekly.

So far nobody's even close. there are the hidden cost
Lets say

3 vial test E-$180 (500mg/week)
Nolvadex-$60
100 -3cc syringes with needles- $17
100 -18guage needles (draw up)-$10
Alcohol prep pads- $2 to $5

That comes up to about 260. By the time you get money order fees and Shipping cost we are EASILY looking at $300

Now Lets say thats all you bought. U ignore the AI (another $50-$100), you don't do the HCG throughout cycle (anywhere between 50-100), The bacteriostatic water for hcg ($5-$8 /10mlvial)

300 bucks sounds affordable. But there is more

You have to consider the large amounts of food you will be consuming. Because without food, you just waisted 300 dollars. So your going to be eating anywhere between 3500 to lets say 5000 calories a day. Adds up quick. Your normal grocery list just wont do. I don't know about the rest of yall but $100 bucks a week gets eaten up quick. So we are just going to figure $100/week at 12 weeks. thats $1,200 (and thats on the low side)

So were at 1500 dollars MINIMUM at the moment.

Now lets talk about Supplements. The average tub of gainer is $50. I can go through one of those a week no problem. then what about N.O. supplements, amino acids, Liver cleanser, etc etc. But lets just say you only get the protien/calorie shake at $50/week. thats another$600

your lookin at $2,000 minimum

Thats just on a basic, bare minimum, 12 week cycle.

a bare minimum cycle of test, ai and pct,,...you do the math for your sources' prices.

Really depends on what you want to run. But i'd say price brandon/rippedgolfer hit the nail on a ballpark price.

Dear members, when i talk with IFBB pro BB, all say most expensive is FOOD!

best-regards

wp

lol maybe Jay Cuts.

You can squeeze a decent cycle out for far less. Trust me.
I don't think you can Mr. Fantastico. A hundred bucks a week isn't alot of groceries when your bulking. This is the time when your really pushing your body's limits, and u gotta eat, eat, eat. What u going to get big off of??? Ramen NOodles??? And Don't take this statement as a personal. U say that it can be done cheaper. I just don't see it.

Hunt for your own meat, Buy protein supplements in bulk, better prices on gear.. heh. Still wouldn't be a big difference and 100/week is being very conservative I think (if bulking is the goal).

I rounded down a hundred bucks on the previous figure. So that can be the $100 off on a bulk deal of powder. And if the gear was $40 bucks a vial and only bought two, thats a savings of a hundred. So before i rounded down it was 2,100. Now we are at 1900. Your right. not a big difference.

You're eating anyway. It's not like you are going from 0 cals to 5000. And in most cases, cleaner food is cheaper than most of the packaged/processed shit and fast food most people are eating. The only thing is, eating clean/bulk is time consuming. I prepare most of my food for the week on Sundays. I grill 5-7 pounds of chicken, chop veggies and put errything into ziplocks or Tupperware.

Im going to agree on the food. And all of the supplements like protein, vits, liver care..etc Atleast this is what I experienced. Another cost is devoting yourself completely for the 12 or so weeks that you are on cycle.

Im thinking around $5-700 after everything but that includes a lot of food and what not.

I'd have to respectfully disagree. While food is a cost factor, it should not be calculated into the cost of your gear. When you buy a car, you don't factor in the cost of fuel, oil changes, tires, etc into the price of the car. If you ran the basic test only cycle, the cost would differ between sources but i think $50-60 per vile is reasonable. Then add costs of pins, ai's, pct and hcg if you choose to use these items. I paid $340 for my cycle of test only. Paid $390 for second but that's bc I needed more ai's than usual.

So when you buy a car, you don't look to see what the mpg rating is??? I look at the Miles per gallon, and tank size. Figure how far it is to work, and what i use the car/truck for to see if its worth the purchase.

When you go on vacation to disney world, you just don't figure in the cost of tickets. You gotta figure travel, food, tickets, hotel accomidations, Play money

Gear is everything to need to complete the task. In this case you have to calculate everything in order to acheive the goal. Gotta know what your getting into. Thats the difference between a NOOB and a VET. (not implying anything to anyone in particular)

I think you're looking to deep into it. Not questioning your knowledge, but i think it's rare to calculate food costs into the costs of a cycle. Gear is a fixed costs, where food is variable so it's difficult to know exactly. The question was What is the general cost of "gear" on a first cycle. Buzzard is correct. You aren't going from 0 to 5k calories. Yes, food costs most def will go up on cycle but you can't just add your full food bill into a cycle, if that were the case. I think the op was asking the costs of the actual gear. But if you were eating correctly and already taking supplements your costs shouldn't go up by much.

Another cost is devoting yourself completely for the 12 or so weeks that you are on cycle.
If your cycling.. Then you should plan on devoting much more then the cycle length.. as well you should already have been devoting lots of time. :)

I don't consider that looking deep into it. Yes you are already eating and have food in the pantry. but for alot of noobs, the everyday eating routine of 2500 calories just won't do. Your going to go through food quick. And food isn't a variable, its a necessity. Its more important than that oil your shootin in your quad. The only point i am trying to make is when your new and looking to fund a cycle, you have to look at the whole picture. Do you really have the money to invest in the extra food, supplements,......................... I am going to make another thread.

If you are asking how much a cycle is, you are probably froogle. If thats the case, then you should look at all of the other hidden costs that the posters talked about.

If you were to tell people the basic cycle will costs them $2k, there would be a lot less people juicing. But I do see your point and the value in your opinion. I think a lot of people under eat while on cycle then complain that either their gear was underdosed or bunk but had they taken in enough food, the would've seen better gains.

i got really good info and knowledge ..

is good to have knowledgeable guys here ..

cheers gents ..

Just started mine 3 weeks ago tomorrow.

3 bottles Test E
Aromasin
Nolva
Clomid
HgC
Pins

$420

120 bucks,and about 100 bucks a week in groceries.

Wow you guys spend alot of money on food!!! I spend prob half that lol
here's my usual bulk foods that might last a month or so

2 large cartons of cheap in flavored oats like 8 bucks total
20lbs of protein 100 buck prob last 3 or four months
4-6 gallons of milk
large olive oil last forever. I add it and oats to make huge shakes
2 bulk bags of cheap chicken breast
I buy 20lb bags of rice
2 large bulk bags of cereal
home made potatoe knocchi. It's cheap to make like 20lb of carbs
some eggs
factoring all the left overs I'd say maybe 200 bucks for a month of high calorie bulking.

1) Wait for sales, Buy in bulk. Portion everything and freeze until needed.

2) Make friends at your gym with the people who work there. i dont pay monthly fees anymore nor do i pay for tanning sessions.

3) Brew your own gear or buy in discounted bulk.

Hope that helps.

Mr. Fantastico...I know I'm off subject but WTF is your profile a picture of. Is a jacked up wolf? The body on it looks like a pig with a wolf head. I'm really messed up right now and it really is bothering me. I like the pic though don't get me wrong/
