This has occurred several times when doing DLs, I use habringer velcro straps.
It either snaps in the middle of a lift, or is too loose, nothing it seems is right with securing.

I wanted to know if any of you have a brand or product of straps you can recommend. I want something which is user friendly, I stink at tying nots, which is why I thought this would do well:

Would these work or do you have any other suggestions?

i have the harbringer padded straps with the strap portion perpendicular to the wrist wrap (velcro-padded) like the first picture you posted. I use chalk whenever possible though and only rely on straps when i need to. the perpendicular have been MUCH better on my wrists than the slip-know type as old-school slip-know ones tend to flare up my tendonitis pretty easily.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I have the velcro strap and it sucks. It is either too loose or it cuts off circulation and snaps in the middle of a lift.

I am looking for something which does not do this, and which is user friendly since I struggle tieing knots.

Which of these
Harbinger Fitness

or some other brand work/can you recommend?

Harbinger. I have the padded ones now I think they are ok but the velcro has released twice on me. Now I make sure I rub the velcro good and have it lined up good. I usually go up to 600 or more on rack pulls. The regular straps I like too and used to use them over a sweat band on my wrists. I would love to start using chalk but I don't feel like going through the rough hands/callous stage. Call me a wuss. Nothing like it though.

I second that. WUSS.

All chalk all the time. Makes it interesting for beating off.

Do I get any points for my gym, Fitness 19, not really liking chalk? Or should I switch gyms?....

Damn...still a wuss. : (

I almost signed up to one of those too. I saw a huge Golds down the street and the first thing they told me was "chalk is allowed." I replied with where do I sign up.

You are still stronger than me...WUSS

The velcro straps release on me all the time.

versa grips r awesome
Can you link it?

Versa Gripps. They cannot be beat.

Holy sh*****t those versa's aren't cheap and they require you to know your wrist size!

Any cheap alternatives? I got the same problem, anytime I deadlift with heavy weight, the velcros break and it messes me up.

APT straps are one of the best straps you can find.

X2 I have APT straps and elbow and knee wraps as well. Made for heavy lifting by heavy lifters.

Versatile Grips are great too but my wife uses them so I can't. It really a matter of she found them first.

Lotta good brands out there for straps. I don't use grips, but straps are useful for max lifting and competition powerlifting. Knee wraps for pretty much the same reasons. Same with suits. I don't think it is something you should worry about saving a couple bucks on. Might as well pay the money and get decent shit.

I have those exact ones and they fucking suck.

For one its not long enough. Im use to wrapping several times more and wasnt able to with these.

2, the strap is too hard and uncomfortable. There seems to be zero organic material mixed into the fabric of the strap. Very uncomfortable and you'll have welts on your wrist for a day or so. And lastly, too wide of a strap.

Plus the rubber underneath is pointless on a bar with knurling grips to begin with. So when you wash it, pieces of rubber fall off.

Oh they suck. Everytime I lift over 300, they snap!
I thought harbringer was good.

Valeo cotton straps are better imo. Everything harbinger falls apart. Valeo straps are only $3 a pair too
