This is a way to get Syria off the international radar. Hamas is a known Syrian flunky group. Assad trips a war between Israel and Hamas hoping the rest of the rag heads and Euro-weenie governments start squalling that Israel is being mean. Then the world will forget about Assad butchering his own people. This gives Assad enough time to get a refresh on weapons and ammo from Russia and China. Then he can kill more people to his hearts delight without the world watching.

You do realize "Palestine" is right in the middle of Isreal, Jerusalem, Bethlehem being the center point. Tel Aviv is less than 20 miles from the West Bank. Most of the jews fight over it because they think it's a real bank...
