ok... here is the sceanrio
a cashier that works at a fast food place ended up being short 50$ in the register. after the shift was over the employee was called back the assistent manager because of the missing money, so after an arguement the ass. manager told the employee to pay back the money or he/she would get fired. well the employee got the money from home and gave it to the ass. manager. so lets say the cashier didnt take the money.... isnt it ilegal to ask for the mising money
sorry if i made it complicated i hope u understood what i asked for

you should have brought the money from home, shoved it in his ass, and when the cops came they'd find it hidden in his anus and have him convicted for stealing the money. then when you got interviewed with the cops go "Convict this" and pull the gun from his holster and start firing at all the cops. Once you cleaned the place out hijack the helicopters inevitably following you and start gunning the rest of the arsenal. Then when the president, who at the same time is having to deal with his rebellious oldest daughter, finds out he'll scream "I'LL GET YOU SEVEN11!!!!!!!!" and press down on a big red button, sending a nuke to destroy you. You then drop a grapple hook from the helecopter and swing the nuke back on the president saying "Veto this" and then go back to your pad and sleep with the president's daughter. Then when you get done roll over and then start making out with his wife too.

The End.

I dont know about illegal, but they can fire you for being short/over and they will routinely do so for $5. If the money wasn't stolen it means the person can't count, which means they are not competent. Yes we all make mistakes, but you have to look at it from a business persons point of view.

If I can't build something in a factory without destroying half of my output, or something breaking or exploding, they can fire my ass!

So if this person kept their job for a couple days pay

I remember being the manager in a stupid job once and being told that if the money was short/ over it has to remain so as long as the "house" is exactly right. Manipulating it would get you fired.

However in my latest job, I'm not the manager, but I know that the managers just shrug if off if the drawers are over or under, and in fact all of them that I know of pocket any money when it's over. They even have a shoebox of collected money they have from leftover drawers. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

If they dont own the joint it could come down to tax law, who knows.

Dont you live in the south? There may be a law stating they can be lynched by the employer

and god knows what happens if you'd steal his horse.

But yeah Seven, thats pretty much how it works. From places I worked when I was younger if you'd be over or under a few dollars it was okay, but you just have to notify the person above you. If it was alot of money... well, that never happened. But I ruled my ice cream joint with an iron fist. "Smaller scoops damn you, who do you think pays for that shit?"

i use to wait tables and you carried "a cash register" if you were short, you had to pay it out of your tips. 100% legal for him to tell him to pay it.

okey thanks guys
and crono1000 thats exactly what i had in mind

If you had shoved the money up the Managers ass they could get him on Title 18, Sec. 333. Mutilation of national bank obligations. It states that altering a bill with the "intent to render such [bill] unfit to be reissued" is illegal.
