Kinda a small question... When I get to my 3rd set of a excersice while doing chest routine, I usually have troubles putting up the first rep w/o a spot, but once I get it up, i'm good for at least 5 more. Do any of you have this problem? Does it have something to do with my breathing on the way down, or just the way i lay back with the weight?

i see some guys/gals that do that also.i think it comes down to being mentally ready.BUT, personally try to find a spotter, injuries suck.train smart.:)

Definetly go with that spotter . A little help can go a long way .

I definately always use a spotter, and I'm not sure that they weight is the problem, if I'm always getting at least 5 clean reps up. The reps are done correctly, and with good timing. If I move down weight, I am putting up too many reps for my routine. but thanks a lot, if anyone else has any other ideas, please fill me in.

you are not alone with this problem I have it too sometime and it sucks.........:headbang:

not sure if it's a good thing that i'm not the only one T.J. :D but I'd really like to know what's causing this problem. My guess is that it has something to do with tempo or breathing maybe... i don't know :(
