How long should be long enough to heat up my gear under a warm tap or bathing it in warm water?

I know its gonna vary depending on water temp but I don't want to over do it.

Thanks for any help

I put water in a bowl. Place it in the microwave for 1 min 30 secs take the bowl out then place the gear in for 30- to a min and it's great

I just run the tap water from the sink as hot as it will go, then hold the barrel underneath the stream while rotating it slowly for about a minute. It works great, and makes a big difference with pip.

I personally also just get the tap water as hot as possible, fill up the sink so it's a bit past where my gear is in the vial.... let it chill in it for like 3-5minutes... makes it so much easier to get the tren into my 25g pin... then i'll run the tap water as hot as possible and just have the syringe under the water for awhile to help heat it up... makes it inject so much smoother. Last night was a PITA for some reason though, did all this... went to inject 2ML of tren e (220mg/ml homebrew).... i swear i was using all my force trying to get it to go in. Maybe it's a sign i've been injecting into my glutes too often.

Why are you heating it? I never heat gear to draw or pin and have never had issue with quality gear.

It helps. Especially with PIP and soreness. Helps dissipate faster. Just something really simple that helps 5%

Yup. I've encountered the same problem. Probably hitting some scar tissue.

It depends on the carrier oil and the pin size. GSO, CSO, or god forbid Canola Oil. With a 27g or a slin pin you definitely gotta heat that shit up!

It can help with the soreness and dispersing the gear. Also goes in smoother imo.

Thank you to everyone else for your reply.

What is your reasoning for doing this?

I like heating mine, because it makes it easier to draw and shoot.

I've heated mine before also and I agree with you it makes it easier going in.
I would never sit it in water though.
What works for me is after you get it drawn up in the pin just put the cap back on and use the hair drier just for a brief period while you roll it.
I always feel it to make sure I have it just right.
Wait a few seconds and pin it.
But I always draw with a 21 switch pins and shoot with a 25gu.

I microwave a cup of water for 2 minutes
Place the loaded pin in the water
Let it sit while I shower

I would imagine -

Cap your pin. Turn on hot (but not steaming) water. Run it over the sides for 30 seconds. Barrel should probably feel warm many seconds after removing it from the water. Done.

Just warm water, the water shouldn't feel hot to the touch. Leave the vial in for a few min, obviously the vial should not be submerged.

This will bring the oil up to body temperature, I feel that is best for injection.

5"10
200lbs
BF = around 15% (guess)
600mg Tren E, 325mg Test Cyp week

I draw it and leave it on a heat pack, have a shower and jab after shower. Nice n warm!

Helps shooting it into the muscle and with the pip

Hey Love2, I will not disagree that if the gear is not high quality and not made with a USP grade pharmacy oil then it might load and pin faster. Cornola oil is not made to be injected so heating it will thin it a bit. After injecting the oil will return to your bodies natural body temp so quick that it will not help the oil disapate any quicker; for that you would have to use a heating pad to heat the entire area for an extended period of time.

PIP is most commonly from high BB, high BA, or your body natural defenses against the oil or ester you have just injected. Heating the oil prior to injection will not stop the PIP if this is the cause.

Let's all keep in mind that PIP is at some point unavoidable since you have just shoved a piece of steel deep into you muscle and injected up to 3 cc of oil and chemicals into it. There is no amount of heating, topical anistetics, or witch craft that will make that fact go away. Sometimes you just have to deal with it to grow.

Now, with all that crap above I am not going to tell you not to heat it. If that is you ritual go right ahead. I put my right sock on first every time just because it what I do. I will tell you from experience (I pin at least once a day mostly 3 cc each, for @ 6 months out of the year) and I have only heated 1 vial of test E because it used roofing tar as a carrier, but that only happened 1 time till I threw it in the garbage.
