Water reducing is always temporary in my book.
Heat expands your pores. By taking a cold shower after, you shrink your pores which results in tighter skin. By doing this, you're not going to walk out of the sauna looking all defined. Especially not after your first couple of sessions. It also depends on how much water you consume while you're in the sauna(while in the sauna, I don't drink any water. I use a cool cloth sometimes) and when you go home. You're losing water, not fat.
How long does it last: Well, that depends on you and how strict you are with your diet and how much water your drink.
I'll give you an example: When I go in and lose 5 pounds of water you can bet I gain atleast 2 of it back by the next day. There are days where I gain it all back by the next day.
Young D: Don't apologize for asking questions. That's what we're here for. Actually, that's what we're all here for. Ask questions, get answers........maybe even something more......

Just kidding.
Young, everyone is different. Keep that in mind. What works for someone else may not work for you. Experiment a little and take mental note.
