So I was reading through past sections and I saw some people pointing members to the HST Routine. I visited their website and was just thoroughly confused. So the question, I found this routine which seems to be the basic one, HST Routine and had a few questions.

1) Is this good for everyone who is looking to work out the entire body?

2) Why are you able to work out the same part 3 times a week? Is it just that you are working everything out in 3 smaller parts, instead of one big 'back' day, or the such? This is the big one.

3) What is HST Routine, in a short summary. I visited their website and was confused. Of course I want to know what I am doing to my body!

4) What is recommended in those Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends? Tuesday, Thu, and Sat Cardovascular and anything else? and Sunday break?

Any other tips would be nice

It sounds fun and I have a really good attention, I do not get sick of doing things in routine, so I very capable of sticking to the same exact routine (Some would point that part out)

Thanks everyone

HST:

training your bodypar thrice a week
day 1 & 3 use the same exercises... 1 set
day 2 & 4 use same exercises 1 set.

the 2 stages differ in exercises

the amount of weight changes... day 1 using 60% of max day 3 using as much for 10 reps.

to me its a reicipie for overtraining.

but who knows try it out.

2) Why are you able to work out the same part 3 times a week?

you can train more frequently with low volume if you don't train to eccentric failure all the time. no difference between doing 9 sets for chest on 1 day or doing 3 sets, 3 days a week.

when I used HST I had to increase the volume on both legs & back

HST is the flavor of the month....try it out and see for yourself

I don't understand the flavor of the month comment, but definitely will try it out. And the overtraining thing, I am pretty careful about that, would use proper weights and all. And that is exactly what I wanted LAM, thanks.

Thanks guys, answers to rest from others would be greatly appreciated.

Flavor of the month................the fad of the month. Getting into great shape is not rocket science, its common sense and hard work.

Oh I see, yeah, I truly did not know. I was just looking for a laid out routine. Like I said, I am really good sticking to a routine, so I wanted one that is good, hard, and one that I would be dedicated to. I see your point ForemanRules and I understand that. Thanks for the concern.
