Read some stuff in the HST page, and some conceps might be right! But i think it depends a lot on the person! Tried a lot of trining cycles and the one that works best for me, i think, is 2 train cycles a week, of 3days each cycle and 2 groups each train (each day)!

Need opinion of someone who have done a training cycle of HST, for at lest 10 weeks! Does it worth?

No pictures at all of the author of the training in the page...

Never ran it for 10 weeks, I lasted 5, worked great. I was going to do 2 weeks for 5 rep period but it was too painfull, strength increases were too much for my left elbow to handle.

Thks a lot guys!

Since i'm on exams and can't train with my own program, think i'm gonna try it for a few weeks!

took a closer look to the routine, and noticed that this is great for people who train 3 days a week!
But i'm on 6 days a week, 2 groups each train! Doing great but need at lest 8 hrs of sleep besides the fact that takes time every single day!
The thing is that i don't have pretty sure if the hst would bennefit on me...

Mudge, before you tried the HST, were you running a 3 day train or 6 day?

I changed mine to 6 days a week, added in a slight bit more volume on some things, back and legs from memory.

I tried the 3 day setup, and doing 15 reps 30 seconds full body is a SWEAT FACTORY. Nice changeup though I suppose.

Sorry, bad english... Couldn't understand you!

You changed the hst to a 6 day plan, or changed your actual plan for 6 days?

So, you were training every single day every muscular group?

But now, how are you training, besides your general training cycle??

I think i'm gonna change it,
maintaining the 3 days of train of the hst plan, but adding each train the number of my total week repetitions for each group divided by 3! and adding some more volume to some too!

It would take a lot of time each train... Geeeeee, i dunno..! Would be extensive train, but probably would be an advantage in the point that every 48 Hrs i stimulate the muscles!

The guys in rugby train legs every singe day with short but strong rep, and they have them HugE!!!!

HST is the whole body 3x a week, I split the workouts in half so it was still 3x a week but 6 days training instead of 3.

Make sense? I cut the workouts in half, added some sets here/there (back/legs I recall). I wanted more energy for my workouts, although they may have made it a 3 day routine to have more days off (glycogen replenishment, whatever).

I think that it's a pretty good program if you can stick to it. I noticed faster fat-loss on HST than any program I remember doing. Dropped weight like crazy on HST! I think because I was doing a full body workout every other day. Who knows.

Definitely gets boring though. You get so sick and tired of the same old full body sessions.

Understood! :D
That was i thought to do with the hst program, last late night, splitting into half, and adding more sets to back, legs and chest!
Yup, seems like boring every train almoust every same groups...! Think i'm gonna start it in following weeks with a few changes...
I'll report it in a few times the results! :)

Thks for the posts guys!
