Incline CG bench?

Guy at the gym today was performing CG bench press for his Triceps, and the bench was on a 30-40 incline. :confused:

You guys don't CG on an incline do you? I've been CG benching on a flat bench, is this correct? How would an incline bench target the Tris in a different way, or would it even hit the muscle?

I used to do this movement when I did Westside. Yes, your triceps still get hit; your elbow is still extending.

There is nothing magical about doing either movement. CG flat bench press lets you use more weight. CG incline press, just like a regular inclince press, is going to use more anterior delt then on a flat bench. Also, I like the movement because of the really large ROM.
 
I actually feel that slightly declined CG bench press activate the triceps the most strongly.
 
i do it incline sometimes..the next day my upper chest is soo sore

i think the best version of thids exercise is the flat bench press and decline ,i think incline CG presses would involve more front delts and take stress away from tri's.
