That is why so many in congress have no problem sending our military off to another way. And some in congress, others that want to be in congress and two that want to be in the White House can't wait to start another war or escalate the ones we are currently fighting.
I every election that I can remember (and I'm 42) the issue of "Vietnam" has come up.
Who cares who dodged? Who cares who went? Even those who were in the national guard were dodging.
It was a different era, and is totally irrelevant today.

However, I was one of the first group of people to take control of Iraq April 14th of 2003, I celebrated my 19th birthday in Iraq. Case in point 1958 we were on the brink of war with China, all we did is put two carriers in there back yard and said fuck off.. Why did we not go to war with China then I mean the same policy of containment or Truman law should have put is in war with China in 58 if we go by the same mindset of Vietnam or the Korean war and even this war. The reason it did not benefit the government politically. They said we went to war with Vietnam because we feared the spread of communism and that it would ruin America lol. How the fuck would Vietnam effect America.... I mean we lost that war, cant say we won it because they are a socialist country not a democracy. In the past 40 some thing years has it effected us... Every one that dodged was granted amnesty because they government realized this was a BULLSHIT war and the draft was a failure. No one should be EVER forced to fight. I served so others do not have to. I put my life on the line so you can relax and feel safe. Not so you have to fear of being FORCED to do some thing against your will. I salute every one who fought for there freedom and avoided this nonsence of a political war.

I believe it. Strategically it does NOTHING for America... What political reasoning they had i dont know there all crooks. He have had very few competent presidents. Only president that I can honestly say that I have liked is Clinton. I wasn't old enough for Reagan but like what he stood for, Clinton did not believe in government spending and lowered our taxes not raising them. Even though I am a republican I believe he did more good then Bush and Obama. Bush's down fall was his corporate greed.
