He also believes in magical underwear, the planet kolob, and that Jesus will return to Missouri where the garden of eden was.

He also conveniently forgets this scripture:

“I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:23-24

And there is a good chance you dickheads will vote him in.

To be fair, both candidates believe ridiculous things, and are filthy rich.

That's just the tip of the iceberb.

There are lots of books and websites on Mormonism that provide - information - that a Mormon will never tell you.

I guarantee you can find a verse in the "Good" book that says bring jerked is a sin...

Mormons refer to non-mormons as "gentiles."

God made people black because they refused to vote for Lucifer or Jesus.

Bizarre.

This is quite the entertaining thread. what else do you guys have?

I work with a few Mormons.

"So why don't you drink coffee?" I ask
"It's against my religion." Mormon says
"Really?! Why can't you have it?" I ask
"I don't know" Mormon says.
"Seriously? you dont know?" I ask
"Yeah." Mormon says

^^^ what a crock of shit!^^^ It's incredible people actually believe that shit.

Actually it's not any more strange than what Christians believe. We're just used to Christian ridiculousness.

that's an insult to a crock of shit....a crock of shit has more credibility than that babbling nonsense....

I used to think Mormons are weird but if you think about it, all religions are "weird" so I just let it go. Let people believe what they believe. Who are we to judge right?

Sane, strong-willed and non-gullible types. That's who 'we' are.

Oh, and Big Smoothy. He's a filthy Jew. :)

it's not about judging it's about calling bullshit when it sounds like exactly what it is...seer stones found in a well in New York?
Joseph Smith saw an opportunity to make is mark in the new world by creating his own bunch of bullshit with Mormonism.

Letting people believe what they want to believe in one thing. No problem with that.

But....in many cases these people that "believe" try to enforce their beliefs onto us. Getting onto school boards to change textbooks for all children. Getting into local, state, and federal office.

There are organization that are promoting their religious beliefs onto everyone.

It is called Dominionism and they use the courts (laws) and legislature to promote their agenda.

(Recall the book called "The Family" that was released 2 years ago, for example.)

it does matter, if you look at the laws we have they are based on morality not common sense. Prostitution is a moral sin, but does it really hurt anyone? We just feel it is wrong so its outlawed. But it could be a legit career, like in some other countries. Look at how muslum law trumps state law in the middle east. its ok to kill your wife or women in your family if they dishonor your family. Dont drink the coolaid friends

Agreed.
But talking snakes, resurrections and walking on water are just as absurd.
