need help on my chicken legs!

i am cursed with small bones especially my chicken legs. i was wondering if there was a quick effective workout that will bulk up my legs, especailly in the lower regions like the ankles and calves. i think my wrist and forearms are actually bigger then my ankles and calves which make me look disgustingly unporportional. any help would greatly be appreciated.

do some leg presses. dont put much (if any) weight on at first, and just do some high rep sets. get a good feel for how the weight should fall back.

standing calf raises are good for your calves (stand on a stair, balls of your feet on the edge of the step, raise and lower yourself using the balls of your feet as the axis point). dunno if youre at a gym, but most gyms also have a machine you can do this with. that lets ya put some weight on it.

once youve done presses for 4-6 weeks, get someone to show you squats.
 
Simple answer. If you have Chicken legs,,,, Train like your a Rooster!!!!
squats
Leg presses
stiff leg deadlifts
leg curls
Standing calf raises
Seated calf raises.

3 sets of each.
Check GOPROS WORKOUTS AT THE TOP OF THIS FORUM. He has 3 workouts for you to do. 1.Power workout 2. Rep workout 3. Shock workout. You alternate them weekly.

Welcome to the club tigerstile. It's a small club, you and me. I'm working like a beast to overcome my chicken legs. The best thing I think I did was prioritize the legs over everything else. I hit them every 4 days no matter what. Whatever bodypart is going to be on that day gets pushed to the next day.

2003 IS THE YEAR OF THE LEG!! You and me brotha' let's do it!!

I started in earnest the beginning of this year and have already gotten some results. keep us posted and I'll do the same.
 
Hey Getting,, that Club isn't as Small as you think it is.
 
i want to concentrate more on my lower legs so i should so calf raises right? would squating and deadlifts help on my lower legs also?
gettin old, what is your routine?

I've got the ol' CHICKEN LEGS, too! :) To get those muscles to grow, I hit the legs hard and heavy. I've been going the hardest I ever have over the last four or five months, and the muscle gain in my legs has been tremendous. :)
 
1). Squat
2). Eat
3). Rest
4). Repeat
 
I can't tell you the importance of Squating.

You can try all the other leg building expercisesout there.

Only squatting will get the job done. :thumb:
