To me a good parent tries to educate there child about there actions and responsibilities. Let's assume that everything is the same, Sarah Palin makes $30k a year selling Hallmark cards, her husband makes $40k, the loser boyfriend doesn't yet have a job, and Bristol is exactly the same. How does a 17 year old girl keep the child, pay for it's food, healthcare, and daycare all while working a job a 17 year old can get?

BTW, don't think she should have handled the aftermath any other way. My point is that this situation is 100x more likely to occur with a mom that preaches abstinence and loathes sex ed than if the mother educated the daughter and provided condoms. Again, I don't know the exact situation, but that doesn't change my opinion. If someone can't even see that, I want them selling lottery tickets like they should be, not running for president.

i like how compassionate you are about all this.. but honestly, i work hard for the money i make. much harder than most people realize. and quite honestly i dont think i should have to take care of some girl that made a mistake and had a kid. if she cant support it, or herself, then who's fault is that?

She's running a state, and has been doing a fairly good job according to her constituents. Prior to the election her approval was 80%+.

All you need to do is not interfere in the free exchange of goods and services and wipe out anyone dumb enough to attack/threaten us. Presidents get into trouble when they think they're smart and that they've figured out that government is the "solution" to problems the country faces. Medicare, Social Security, Bush's Medicare, 'Stimulus' plans, bailouts, etc.
