I don't see this Pope as being hypocritical at all. The Catholic doctrine on abortion is well understood, and documented. This pope while upholding that doctrine is striving to not use it as a divisive issue. Seems to me that's the most Christian of attitudes. something Christianity as a whole needs to do a better job of learning from

This popes generosity in serving the poor is pretty well documented. Plus i don't think religions of all faiths get enough credit for the healthcare they donate. to name one of the many ways Christianity donates to the needy
