I just got back from the gym, I was working chest and I was at my heavy set doing 275 for a set of 3, I was struggling with the third rep, when a guy in the gym decides to spot me from one side of the bar, causing extra weight on my right side.
My normal next set is doing 245 to failure, when I tried to do one I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. Now I have pain and cant lift my arm up straight, so I had to cut my workout short.
I never had should pain at all, I am not sure what to do to treat it. I am so mad that someone would spot me from one side of the bar. Who does that?
What I am scared of is having to take a few weeks off, when I have been getting really good results.
Any advise to get my should back in the game would be apperciated.
