I have crippling tendinitis pain in my inner right elbow and forearm. I have had this pain for months and have not been able to work my bicepts. Anyone have suggestions for relief?

Try Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) therapy. Google it. It works. I had it done. I had it for years, and tis healed it. Used heavly in the sports world instead of cortisones now.

Get one of those tennis elbow bands and wear it like your life depends on it. Also ice the crap out of your elbow at once or twice a day. Ice it until it literally hurts from the cold. You need to get the inflammation down. When the pain stops keep doing that for a few extra days and you'll be good as new.

I had the samething. I worked my forearms more and it worked itself out.

Try doing standing dumbell curls. When you curl it to the top rotate your arm to where your palm would be facing the wall and back down. Alot of times if you can work your forearm at the same time, it relieves pressure off the tendon.

RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) especially after workouts. Throw in 800mg Ibuprofen 3 times daily

Becareful of to much ibuprofen. It can mess up your stomach.

I've had elbow/tricep tendonitus in my left arm since I started lifting I think, the only thing that has worked for me is eccentric work. Do negatives on the tri pushdown pulley with enough weight to struggle on the 15th rep. I do like 3-4 sets, it will be pretty damn sore the first couple of times but you should notice results pretty fast. The RICE helps make it feel better and gets some blood to the area but I dont feel it really does anything to strengthen and help the problem.

For me, skullcrushers are OUT, I just have to do other exercises and my tris are still growing nicely. Always warm up really good, I stay away from the ibprofin and stuff. If I cant heal my body naturally then I'm doing something wrong.

For sure.
800mg 3xday is a lot of ibuprofen. If you take this everyday, your almost guaranteed to develop stomach issues. For a bad tendinitis flare up I think the norm is 2 weeks. So 400-800mg 3xday for two weeks, not for life.

Def. not for life. NSAID are not meant to be taken for life except in extreme cases due to the ability to cause heart disease if taken for long periods of time
