The Veggie Bill

Not much. I usually get frozen and it's cheap. I'd say no more than 2 dollars a day unless I get something special. I probably should be eating more though.

Heres what I buy weekly

FRESH
brocolli, 1.3KG
Asparagus, 3 bunches
2 Capsicum
2Kg carrots
2 continental cucumbers
1Kg tomatos
1Kg sweet potatos
500g Onions
maybe a iceberg lettuce

Frozen

Chopped spinach
green beans.

So yeah, thinking about it thats a lot of food for not THAT much $$. Proteins are where my $ goes mainly, chicken, fish fillets, kangaroo, beef, tuna, cottage cheese, eggs.

But cutting back the booze to once or twice a month has saved some $

Free

All my food is paid for at camp and it's usually fresh vegetables

Close to, but less than $10. Mostly on brocoli, green beans, tofu, green onions, cilantro, garlic and the occassional peppers and tomatoes (<--expensive!). I still don't know what's a good price for tomatoes.
