you should of told that bitch off! I would be embarrassed if I would of let her walk away from me with out crying, after talking to me like that
 
I just got back from the gym, I went early this morning with all the senior gentleman. anyway, the exercises they make up range from hilarious to dangerous. I almost feel like I should intervene sometimes and tell them that there gonna hurt themselves, but if the gyms owner doesnt care, why should I, I mean I dont want to be "that guy".!!!

I would have told her, I was on a bulk, and had let my conditioning drop
to lower my overall metabolism, and thats why I was a little winded
when performing the set...

If I wanted to come into the gym and just go through the motions of performing
perfect "FLUID" repetitions, I probably wouldn't come at all...

I train with anger and hate, and if thats means its ugly, then so be it...

You have managed to piss me off...

This is why I workout at home.
It's hard enough without a busy body nosing in.

if she's built like Arnold, and can crush your head with her thighs,
I'd have to concede she may have a point and ask her to demonstrate:bulb:

She doesn't know what the Hell she is talking about. Oxygen is entering your muscles all day long. Blood carries oxygen. I don't care if you're doing a 3RM. There is still oxygen going into your muscles. It may not be sufficient to power the action at hand, but it is still there.

I was thinking the exact same thing.


While through my NASM training, it actually specifies to NOT approach anyone, client or not, on making suggestions like this.

This story reminds me of when "Terry the personal trainer" walked over to me and asked me to not "slam the weights." Just ignore it, its never gonna go away anyway.

The tapping on the shoulder thing though, yeah you cant let that slide. Kinda missed the opportunity already, but knowing myself, Id approach her during her workouts and make history repeat itself. If shes doing light weight, then just tell her that it was unprofessional to do what she did to you.

OR you can do what everyone said, but you wont.

some kid whose my age was laughing because he knows how interested i am in weight lifting and what not. after she walked off, he continued to laugh, and asked me "was she right" and I said "absolutely not."

i hadn't seen her before, i'm guessing she's knew or she comes at different times than i do. shes just an idiot, nothing else to say about that.

i'd be foolish to say i don't like the effects it has on the women outside of the gym, but inside its a completely different story.

sadly, many people don't feel the same way and when there doing the "beach muscle routines" they'll be doing some bicep curls while winking at the young lady on the abductor and adductor machines.
