Now lets talk about another rarely seen exercise that will put a unique stress on, as well as really isolate the medial head of the delt..."leaning in lateral raise." What is that?
Get an incline bench and set it at about 80 degrees. Put a dumbell or 45 lb plate in front of it so it stays put. Lean foward and place your chest on the bench while standing. Keep your body on the bench at all times. Now do a lateral raise. Pick a weight about 5-10 lbs less than usual as these are quite strict.
On the next sets, lower the angle by a hole or two to get another unique hit on those delt fibers. You can work the delts through the entire range of the benche's angles from medial down to posterior delts.
It is a real pumper!
