no problem, I completely understand that he doesn't speak for the rest of you and lately I've been trying to stay out of conversations like this one, he was just gettin on my nerves the way he was talking down to people.

And you are completely entitled to your opinion and I wouldn't want to even try to change it. I just went the opposite way you did, I was religious, did a lot of study and ended up at that conclusion To each their own I guess. Agreed. I've found that discussions like this typically result in deeply divided camps and enraged emotions. Like you, I usually avoid this sort of engagements as they rarely pruduce fruitful results.

Ponder this, the bible clearly states that god knows everything that is going to happen before it happens, it also states that god created everything. So putting the two facts together then god knew what would happen when he created Satan, he knew what would happen to Adam and Eve when he first put the tree there, he knew a thousand years ago that I would be typing this. So if that's the case then he created everything to happen the way it did. He created Satan to sin, he made it so that his son would have to get tortured, he planned out every rape, murder, and shitty thing that has happened if the bible you are beating off is true.

So if your god in your bible is true, then he is the biggest piece of shit I ever heard about.

Absolutely it's up to me... That's what "free" will is. Sure by my free will I may decide to follow Him or allow Him to take control but by my free will I could chose to allow the devil to do the same... As well by my free will I can turn from or to one or the other... We have free will. No question about that.

It is your type that are against diversity - variety. You seem to have a total lack of any understanding of its existance and importance and meaning and purpose(s) in life and in living. You say it all the time and use your Bible as your "authority" totally disregarding ALL other FACTS as THEY ARE especially in Nature and the Natural World. You (meaning those as yourself also) ONLY consider ONLY what YOU want to consider and dismiss all other information that may be to the contrary of your "thinking"... And utilize that Bible to beat over others' heads' your "thinking" which IS MAN-MADE. You have little or no objectivity and certainly lack open-mindedness.

God created everything. So we are told. You can not just dismiss what you "think" He may or may not have created and only pick out certain things. And it is your "beliefs" based on what you learn from your "religion" - which is Man made - that have you "thinking" what is "right" or "wrong".

When you are speaking of "consequences of your actions" I hope you will realize and remember that those who are "on your side" of your "thinking" will also suffer the consequences of your actions. Or inaction.

I really feel that those of you (likeminded persons) who feel as you do are drowning in your created and self-imposed tunnel-vision.

once agian your information about christianity and what we are told in the bible is inacurate. multiple prophets in the bible had God appear to them. but i dont expect you to change your inaccurate understanding of the bible. you dont use it, why should you. its much easier to just make up stuff and say its in the bible

I pointed to about 1% of the atrocities of the Christians committed not all. Maturity is not turning your back to the truth and the " organized Christian religion" is very evil and not just in their history ( which is rich in blood and intolerance) but by their currant actions and laws. It's clear you can't see above the trees, and that what you were taught to believe, is all you believe. The Bible makes up a lot of "stuff". It was written by MEN. Over 40 each with their own point of view...
