Zercher Lifts...Does anyone here do these?

That doesn't look any kind of good for your back.

Lol strong doesn't equal smart... I can do lots of stuff much larger people can't do but I HURT like hell later... Does that make it ok to do? I think not.

Not a bad exercise for powerlifters and guys doing the strongman comps. I tried them for awhile back in the early 90's. Form is crucial, so start with very light weight until your form is solid. Zercher squats are another way to throw a bit of variety into your program.

Ive done zercher lifts for MMA training before...They will greatly improve your power for throws from the clinch...We do alot of goblet squats to with a heavy dumbell.

i did not see the other lifts but that first lift is totally useless and a stupidly fine recipe for an injury..you may as well poke your eye with the babbell

Looks like a great excercise for blowing your back out. I saw a chick on here lift a 50 lb dumbbell with her snapper, now that's impressive:coffee:

Have never tried it and most likely never will. The pure thought of that makes my back scream like a banshee ---Whiskey
