Bring the water to a boil, put in the eggs for 5-8 min, then put them under very cold water so they peel easily.I'm Trying said:Stupid question but what is the proper technique for boiling eggs (hard boiling them). Thanks in advanced!!![]()

Call me strange but I like that taste.LAM said:I would do the same except boil them for 10 minutes. i've had some large and extra large eggs that needed more time or they were still soft in the middle.![]()

Personally I only boil them 3-4 min, but if they are for eating later then a full 8 min....Soft if they are for now but that can get nasty if you eat them later.LAM said:I would do the same except boil them for 10 minutes. i've had some large and extra large eggs that needed more time or they were still soft in the middle.![]()
after that, drown em in clod water and roll-peal them.ReelBigFish said:put eggs in pot and cover with water about 1inch above eggs. Bring to a boil and then set your timer for 10-12 mins. lettting them boil the whole time.
