Hi guys, I'm week two into a PCT after running Turanibol, 1-T Tren and 1-Andro RX for seven weeks.

I'm currently taking 50mg of clomid twice a day. So far, no probs and still feel relatively big/strong. However, I read an old article on here earlier that explained the significant benefits of nolva over clomid when in PCT (mainly to do with LH production and improving blood lipids).

Is it worth me switching from clomid and to nolva or shall I just continue with clomid?

Cheers.

You are already 2 weeks into it, how long are you going to run pct?

Going to run it for at least four weeks. Maybe six.

Good link to BigCat's article, I've read it before and excerpts of it were in the article I mentioned in my first post. Still, good to brush up and refamiliarise myself.

After that, I think I'll drop the clomid and run nolva instead.

Cheers.

That article is from the 80's. I'm sure you can look up some newer studies on this.

Many like Victor and other who have been in this game a long time feel that nolvadex is out dated and has no place in ones arsenal for PCT. But there are still a great many that use both nolvadex and clomid in their PCT. In my last PCT I used both and did very well. I used clomid at 50mgs per day for 4 wks. The nolvadex was 20 mgs per day for 4 wks and then a fifth week at 10mgs. IMO it worked like a charm. Next time I believe I will just use clomid and start high like 100mgs per day for a week and then another three weeks with just 50mgs and make a comparison.

Hey guys, I am planning to do the exact opposite and change from nolvadex to clomid for my PCT. I have been using nolvadex for a week for PCT but want to take care of the possibility of progestin sides so I am switching to be safe. Also, I have read that nolva can kill libido and clomid won't have this effect as much.

Now my question: How should I incorporate the clomid into my PCT. Should I simply bridge it with the nolva, discontinue the nolva, and finish the remaining 3 weeks of my PCT with clomid?

I would just continue with the Clomid. Disregard the old article.

+1.

Nolva decreases igf-1 and GH production, the last thing you want during PCT.

Yes, all you need is clomid. TAPER off the nolva, cutting it cold can mess things up. Than throw that shit in the garbage. Day 1&2, take 200mg of clomid. Next 3 weeks, take it like this....100/50/50. That's how I'd do it. Others will throw different advice at you, use your best judgement. Good luck.

Victor I'm glad you're in this thread as your dislike for nolva is well known. Can you tell me why (specifically) other things are better. I am mostly concerned with messing up my good cholesterol, so that's why I would think nolva instead of arimidex. I am very interested in your opinion.

One of the main reasons why Nolva is such a horrible choice to use during PCT is because it lowers both IGF-1 and HGH levels. This is the last thing you want to have happen to you....especially during PCT when you body is low on test.

Nolva is also notorious for boosting estro levels through the roof, yet another thing we can do without. Adex and aromasin will work much better and take less of a toll on your body. Aromasin is stonger than adex...if you are gyno prone, I would stick to Aromasin. And lastly, I personally include tren in all my cycles, tren is a 19nor and should not be used in conjunction with nolva (or deca for that matter), so I never touch the stuff. These are some of the reasons why an AI like Adex or Aromasin are a better choice (clomid for pct).
