First of all, I'm no noob to training. Secondly, I'm not making excuses here, I know my weights are 100% on me, but when, for example, a good friend of yours comes up to you IMMEDIATELY before your max DL to complain about how some dude was just benching 155, he clearly has to go.
With that being said... my friend used to train with me till August or September then he 'quit'. Now he's back and he thinks it's cool he can lift with me; one of those goddamn new years people I suppose. Since he's been back lifting with me, he's fucking my focus by complaining like some guy is benching 'light' or someone has shitty form, or how this one girl would be hot if she lost like 20lbs, etc. I honestly don't give a shit. Any of you guys ever experience this? How would you approach the situation? I think I'm just gonna tell him "dude you're fucking up my focus, I can't lift with you anymore". He gets butthurt really easy though, so either way I tell him, he's gonna bitch up a storm and go on a rampant tirade.
